  1. My favorite pass time Something tells me we can get along fine. I'd agree with you, Alyxx, were it not for Doctor Felix Whooves signature.
  2. Indeed it is.
  3. Stinsen brinner- Sörens sång A film by Galenskaparna (meaning: the crazy makers) 30Wg6i5Dgro
  4. Many Astrid Lindgren movies, the first two Cube movies, the tv series the virgin Queen, Metropolis (1927), Stinsen brinner-filmen alltså, one of the original Pirates of the caribbean, and one song from a movie called der Kongress Tanzt. Uhh yeah.
  5. Currenly I'm shivering. I was out in the snow for about an hour 30 min ago, and I only just now began to actually shiver.
  6. My answer is: Of course not.
  7. I fully agree with you, Doublenature. I saw a full of perhaps 2 minutes of the pride parade in Stockholm a few years ago, the reason for that being that it was all I could take before I ran for peace in the Old Town. The noise of some outright screaming people in the parade and the (to me) terrible too loud music, half dressed people in sexual fetish clothing frightened and annoyed me. I'd also like to make a point of the fact that plain nakedness in it self is very acceptable and ordinary to swedes like me, it was that the few scraps of cloth/leather that covered the body accentuated the sexual aspects of the human body to quite a degree as well as being obvious fetish wear. The reason I saw it was that as I was on my way to the Old Town I was looking for a way to safely cross the street in Slussen without being in danger of getting driven over by the parade, haha. Then much later I went on the buss to go home when, of course, two really foul smelling women paraders came on as well, standing right next to me in the cramped buss. I think it was the gold spray they'd sprayed all over their skin. YUCK! And that was my frst and only experience with the pride festival as a young Stockholmska. Haha I don't see any particular beauty in either ceremony. To me, a true loving relationship is not dependent on any third party's confirmation or verification. Equally, I do not accept that any third party should have the ability to keep two unwilling partners tied to each other if they are not suitable for each other. Having said that, there are many practical reasons why legal recognition of the union is useful in our world and I prefer the civil bureaucratic way (which stresses the point that it is just a legal procedure) to any religious ceremony. Regards Indeed, but the latter one I mentioned at least warms my heart and makes me daydream of it.
  8. I had a similair drowning experience, and I fully agree that suicide is selfish.
  9. The meaning of life is different to almost every individual free of sheep like thinking.
  10. I myself have never had any particular contacts with Finlanders nor am I up to date with Finnish politics, but I myself must side with Russia that indeed siding with the USA, particularly in military matters, will be percieved as very questionable and ethically wrong by really most of the world (or at least I'd like to elive so ).
  11. I am a heterosexual and am also of course an atheist. I only ever have problems with people's views on questions - not what the do in the bed straw. I also find that the traditional marriage in it's nature is religious and is a tradition as old as the street, endlessly insulting and restraining to humanity. To enter a relationship by having what is known as civil marriage, that is done by signing papers in attendance of a government official, is to me what is truly beautiful and really shows partnership and strong love between two people - whilst still keeping to the damned point! To bind to humans fates and rights together juridically just a little more tightly and official.
  12. I agree whole heartedly with everything Alyxx and Wheatley has commented and feel no need to add further to this topic with an, while diffrently phrased, unnecessary reply that argues something that has no doubt already been mentioned and handled splendidly by someone else. I instead chose to show my agreement in form of this reply and smiley. I also have to agree with Wheatley, once again, on the point that Collective Foal ( based the replies that person has written in this topic) to me, and others I am sure, logically is to be defined as having the oppinion and views of a sexist. Futhermore, I myself do not lable/call people with a sexist point of view with the additional word "pig", because that to me not only undermines ones line of argument by sounding childish and needlessly more insulting to the person or organisation in question, but is also also an insult to the poor animal. xD I also lastly have to add that I've myself gotten into a fair amount of fights in my life, mostly whilst I was a young energetic child, but also a few slaps on a parent that drove me up the walls in anoyment and that would not cease with it's insults, invading of personal space, and nagging during some very difficult phases of my teenage years. :/
  13. I am glad my admittedly long-ish post has not aroused any particular feelings of anger or hurt (as of now at least), which was - and still is - of some concern to me since having "slept on the matter". I now also feel that the first sentence would have sufficed as an answer. But I just had to type my view on the whole question that was somewhat discussed in the previous pages. And I'm happy to be here, Alyxx Thorne.
  14. Nature made me a female. Who I am - my personality, likes/dislikes, occupation, sexuality, and skills have nothing to do with me being the child bearing sex of humanity. I myself also personally consider the question "are you male or female" to refer to which sex one has, one explanation is that in the swedish language there is most commonly, with the exeption of when the word genus is used in debates, just one word for sex/gender and it strictly refers to the thing between ones legs. It is therefore my understanding that one can only ever ask for people IRL to call one and remember one by their actual sex, how one sees ones own personality is irrelevant. The only exeption is people on the internet. I'll only ever call people "you" and "that person" because really, why should I give a rats ass to ask and remember what people are on the internet, especially when some of them argue for one of them because of just feeling like either of the sexes designated stereotypes? To me your a internet person. Your gender or femininity/masculinity makes no difference.
  15. Hello, I am a small snowflake from Sweden. I really enjoy Freemans Mind, a series which I find to be quite thought provoking. I hope that I will be able to contribute with a few concise and valid replies in these forums.
