Congratulations on the Big Move, Ross - Poland is a terrific place to be, a fantastic culture going through an epic digital media boom (Techland, cd.pl, and a terrific indie music and hip hop culture). All the best to you and Magda - speaking from personal experience, my own partner is from India, and hooking up her was The. Best. Decision. Of. My. Life. (I'm showing my age, I know... swift go the passing years). It's one of those journeys that only gets better as time goes on. So stay productive and stay creative, the both of you!

Ross - glad to hear that resolution is at hand. There's a great German expression for these situations: "liebe ein schreckliches Ende, als Schrecken ohne Ende" [better a terrifying end, than endless terror]. Anyway, the time has come for us digital fans to start flexing our collective muscle. I've personally had enough of low-rent, money-hungry media oligopolies deciding what media I can watch, overcharging me for Z-grade content, exploiting my favorite artists, and then paying off politicians to look the other way. It's time to invent some new models for the 21st century. I'm short on funds now, but will contribute to the donations jar as soon as I'm able. All the best, and keep those creative projects flowing!

Back on topic: how long are we fans going to put up with these malevolent broken business models which waste digital artists' invaluable time and energy? Maybe it's time to think seriously about creating long-term support structures, to keep Accursed Farms going. I'm barely surviving on part-time work and teaching, so I can't do more than spread the word. Thoughts? Suggestions?
