Amazing. Probably one of the funniest FMs I've seen. Excellent job as always Mr Scott!

I think I found the new sounds to be too much of a continuity error. This is a homage to the nostalgia of Half-Life and its occasionally ridiculous, nonsensical gameplay and flaws. To me the sounds, all of them, are part of that and shouldn't be replaced. I know Ross has introduced certain realistic and logical elements here and there, but to me this has always been about the original game. For the same reason that he didn't switch to Black Mesa, so I hope this doesn't become the new standard.

Thank the God Almighty we are free at last!!! Great episode Ross, it's like part of my life was missing without it.

Thanks for the update, I don't think people appreciate how hard you work. Sleep well man!! You've earned it. I don't comment on your videos often enough but yours is the some of the most consistently high-quality and hilarious work I've seen, and that's big praise. I'll look forward to the new video!

I've got a lot of respect for that man now after seeing that photo. Wish I could make it but I'm across the pond.

Firstly, great episode Ross. I'm continually amazed how you manage to keep this series so fresh and innovative when it's just you playing a game and often just walking with nothing to comment on - it's the ability to make a continuous monologue actually interesting that I don't understand. Secondly, it's just my opinion but I got the impression that you were rushing this, and the previous episode, as though you were trying to complete it under a certain time limit. I preferred it when you moved more slowly, as this allowed for those monologues that work so well, but that might just be me and that people prefer the chaos when Freeman gets overwhelmed and frantic. And finally, a question for Ross - I remember a time, perhaps a couple of years ago now, when you were able to knock off an episode a week for about a month or more. What enabled this and is there anything stopping this now? I understand that it would stop you working on other things, but it might be nice to get a load done like this so that the series is moving foward more quickly, because as much as I like Civil Protection and your other work, Freeman's Mind is far more rewarding for me, and I'm sure far easier to work with for you.

In my experience it's always out by Friday evening in America, just past midnight on Saturday for UK. I'm sure Ross has sent it in time so that Machinima can post it tomorrow. It always happens that I come back from a night out still pissed and am able to watch a new episode of Freeman's Mind - it makes my night more than the going out did.

It's usually out by Friday regardless of when he submits it to Machinima. For some reason I've been looking forward to this one far more than any other FM, has it really been four months since the last installment?
