  1. guys, go to http://sourceruns.org/index.php to see all the half-life, expansions, sequels and mods speedruns by the best runners, Quadrazid, Spider-Waffle, Rayvex, pineapple, exe, etc. The hazard course TAS mentined above is done by Quadrazid and Rayvex, and the hl2 speedrun is not TAS, it's just segmented, which means it's not done in one sitting, it uses saves and then video edit to put all good segments together.
  2. my top ten 1: The Call of Duty Franchise 2: CoD 1 3: CoD 2 4: CoD 3 5: CoD 4 6: CoD 5 7: CoD 6 8: CoD 7 9: CoD 8 10: the zombie mod for CoD
  3. lost coast should be done as special episode during hl2 process, not before, it would not be coherent exactly what I tought
  4. I know regular serie is better, but I would rather have that than a hl2 freeman's mind, as many people want hl2 maybe he could make this after being done with hl1 and before starting hl2 so it's kinda of a transition
  5. I just had an idea, and I wanted to know if others would like it too. If Ross Scott (or even any other minder) did a special episode for a Speedrun. Example: Freeman's Mind episode COMPLETE and he just does his normal Freeman's mind stuff, but the video is a speedrun (spider-Waffles's or Quadrazid's, doesnt matter), He would need to find a reason why Freeman knows all those tricks, and a reason why he is in a hurry, then It would be easy to do the rest I think. Since Gordon said "Oh no, I woke up in trash compactor AGAIN!" and "Now The government wants me dead, good thing I got money hided [place I dont remember] to prevent EXACTLY this situation", having a supertrained Freeman could be easy to explain. I just wanted to know if others would like a special Freeman's mind like this.
  6. "These are how you create your own exits!" speaking about satchel charges, when you know that in half-Life, even tough you have a RPG in your hands, a wooden locked door wont open.... XD
  7. Well, it is right that valve didnt have anything to do with opposing force and blue shift, therefore making those not proven to be canon, but valve did develop half-life one but they didnt officially publish it, that is what sierra did. This means since gearbox developped op4 and bshift but valve officially accepts them as expansions (and I have no idea where to place decay in this theory), we can say they are as much official as the original game and are more than probably canon. Since Valve loves to taunt us with news, maybe they will not ever refer to those storylines, but wont ever contradict them either to make sure we never know the truth, just like they are gonna do with gman (seriously? you still hope knowing who he is?) and they may not even have any explanation for gman, but they want us to think they have one and that they dont wanna tell us, they want us to turn crazy.
