  1. Before the patch in my old PC elevators took above 1min sometimes. Thats why people complained so much about it lol. I really enjoyed the mako btw.
  2. Some family games, one of those that i do remember was Battletoads, that was HARD. Also, some bike game un Snes, Super Metroid was once of the first games that got me addicted to it. On PC, Supaplex was the first game i played ever, then Theme Hospital got me going. And a demo of The Dig.
  3. *(Tim Schafer + Ron Gilbert)
  4. Anyways, BG does not belong to Bioware anymore, so they won't be doing anything related to it. As i pointed, Oster is an EX Bioware employee, his studio is Beamdog now.
  5. I think Skyrim in Nr2 its silly, takes away all the credibility of the chart. But of course, thats my opinion, and i really liked Skyrim. Oh and one game that had a HUGE impact in me was Grim Fandango, along with Baldur's Gate 2, probably my favorites of all time. Fuck yeah, Grim Fandango is one of the best PC games of all time imo. The graphics look good even today, way ahead of their time for 1998-1999. And the game just feels timeless all in all, because it doesn't rely too much on references to anything current. Yeah, story, voice acting (not only english, spanish is freaking awesomely dubbed), OST, everything its awesome. I agree graphics are really good, but what makes it look SO good its the backgrounds, the art of the game is just one of the best ever. But, then again, i can't be objective about Grim Fandango lol.
  6. I know, but its a matter of hype, Skyrim is still a new game, and it was so hyped for over a year, its easy to track down all those votes... Don't get me wrong, i really liked it, but it kind of loses objectivity when a game is so hyped.

  8. IF you get in gaming magazines sites, or if you are a fan of bioware, or maybe if you are a fan of the saga, you've probably heard. There is a lot of speculation around this: http://baldursgate.com/ The domain is owned by a ex Bioware dev. Trent Oster (http://twitter.com/#!/trentoster). He worked in BG engine if im not wrong, and took care of the direction of Neverwinter Nights. If you check the website source code you'll find some teasing phrases, anyways, here are some of the notes in gaming sites i've checked: http://www.destructoid.com/could-a-new-baldur-s-gate-be-on-the-way--222929.phtml http://pc.ign.com/articles/121/1219677p1.html?RSSwhen2012-02-29_095400&RSSid=1219677&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ignfeeds%2Fpc+%28IGN+PC%29 http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-02-29-website-teases-new-baldurs-gate http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/02/29/new-baldurs-gate-website-suggests-remake-sequel Also, the post in the bioware forums, i think one of the posts around the net which started the thing... http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/13/index/9504230 Btw: my english its not the best around, sorry bout that.
  9. It's not nostalgia value, its just a game that came out 20 years ago. Impossible to compare to an actual game. The rate was given at that time, and of course if you rate a game like Doom to today standars it will get a stupidly low score cause, well.. its 20 years old (almost).
  10. I don't think that just cause you don't (or didn't) like a game it means its overrated. I don't like FPS, i never did, but that doesn't mean HL, or doom, etc are overrated. Anyways, i agree GTA series are overrated, i like those, played all of em, but after a while i find em boring, story is usually really bad and unnoriginal, and sandbox elements are limited to going around a city shooting people, missions get ultra repetitive, etc. I love Zelda games, but i agree most of those are overrated, some are awesome games, others are overrated cause of the franchise. Oh and Final Fantasy franchise is totally overrated
