Well, my monitor is only 1440x900, so I guess yours just seems big. Or maybe your icons are smaller. I have no clue.

Honestly, having better combat than Skyrim is not a difficult thing to claim. It's not as bad as Morrowind's combat was, but it's not that fantastic either. That's what I was meaning...but you might note that I said "best combat of any RPG I've played".

I've only played it on the 360, but Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning is surprisingly good so far. It ain't got shit on Skyrim for sheer epicness, but it does have some of the most entertaining combat I've ever seen in an RPG; puts Skyrim to shame in that respect.

Well, I don't know that I'm affiliated quite enough with him (I just do some volume balancing, and a bit of sound mixing) for it to be that big of a deal...I'll just ask him if it would get on his nerves, I guess. And 10/10
