Agreed. I still think it would be awesome to see the whole game rebuilt in CryEngine 3; that's probably one of the only engines that could do it justice. Well, small world. I'm on a team at the moment recreating Riven using modern graphics. We're using mainly Unity for the engine, not CryEngine though. Well, a homespun derivative of Unity we're calling Cygnet. We're still making our first dent into the actual adaptation work, but our team is growing and we've got some great ideas. All of the graphics guys, including myself, are very OCD about getting every detail right in the recreation. To be honest, doing so might give non-brony new forum users a less traumatizing experience when they are assaulted by pony characters; they wouldn't instantly see everyone as having cartoon pony avatars, and it would take them some time to figure out who they actually were...

YES, I know, dude. That was kind of obvious. The point I was trying to make is that whatever religion you embrace, people will give you grief. Learn to live with it. Doom Shepherd and Edo Baba in particular hate the shit out of that, but I just ignore them. You should do the same thing. Just apply the ol' "Love and Tolerate" theory.

Sooo...the reason everyone on the island has gone nuts is because they have become addicted to a natural hallucinogen that grows there?
