  2. Said by the person, whose avatar contains nothing but broken things. What's the status on your hands and their ability to hold things, by the way?

  6. Our weather has been fairly indecisive this summer so far. It goes sunny with some clouds first hour, and then suddenly "Ok, that's enough, have some downpours!", thunderstorms included. At least it helps against the summer heat Right now it's pretty calm.

  10. Tabletop Simulator Played tabletop version of "Castlevania" with friends. Lots of screaming and confusion ensued (and a server crash at the endgame)
  11. So, I'm very stressed out about pretty much everything today. Terror attack in Nice, France; Turkey's military uprising; my friend's father is approaching Death's door; more than a half of the people I know pretty much has a crappy situation. Oh, and hackers. I'm already tempted to cancel my belief about life on Earth getting better and throw it in a garbage dump, and then replace it with the phrase "everything is going to s**t". Right now AGDQ\SGDQ videos, video games and work help me throw off some of the stress, but not much.
  12. I once played a game called "The Beginner's Guide", completely blind (not literally). I've beaten it in one sitting. This game got me thinking quite a bit. About Coda, about the author of "The Beginner's Guide" (forgot his name), about inspiration and will to create things, about various topics and setting that arose during the game... So anyway, I went through it. SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T COMPLETED "The Beginner's Guide": So yeah, that was quite an experience. I recommend going through this game to anyone who haven't tried it yet and don't know what it is about
  13. I got ISFJ-A, "Defender" type. 58% Introverted 76% Observant 60% Feeling 56% Prospecting 71% Assertive (the numbers on this one are hardly true >_> )

  15. WarCraft: The Movie I admit: I was thrilled when I saw it and thought it was awesome. Then the hype died off after some time, and I noticed quite a bit of faults in the movie (including the romance and appearance of some orcs), but despite that, I'd say I still enjoyed the movie anyway. And the gryphon is awesome too. Thank god Uwe Boll was declined by Blizzard. 8/10, but if I wasn't familiar with the WarCraft universe somehow, I'd rate it 7/10 instead.

  19. I agree on "thematically cohesive" part. I like how with each chapter you start out as simply shooting insane marines in an outpost, but after that you progressively descend into darker places and encounter more dangerous and unnerving adversaries. Plus each chapter has their own setting. I find the fourth chapter especially unnerving, to be honest, with its heavy allusion to Lovecraft and whatnot And recently I installed QuakeSpasm and downloaded the soundtrack. Couldn't ask for a better feeling I've got after launching the game afterwards
  20. ...I may have an unhealthy nostalgic love for first Quake.
  21. Lessee... Severe difficulty spikes, lack of proper directions (and, if present: lack of any ability to review it again) and confusing environment (not just mazes), enemies with annoying immunity (THAT guy from Skyrim), pay-to-win micro-transactions (reason I abandoned Realm of the Mad God) and unfair enemies. Also this is not really video game related, but I also dislike companies that force region lock and BAN ENTIRE COUNTRIES WITHOUT ANY PROPER REASON. This is why I hate Nexon.
  22. I remember this. I had a CD that had demos of various games, including some sports games and Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines. And there was this game. I remember that it lagged like hell during a final cutscene (where the Big Bad sends his forces after the boy), and there was also a showcase of screenshots from full version
  23. LaserTank is an open-source freeware\careware puzzle game that was made back in 1995 by Jim Kindley, but now is in the hands of Donald Drouin. The goal in this game is to bring your tank to the flag. It has 2030 levels in the starter pack, but there's also other packs in the file, and you can change the load path to them. And there's also a Level Editor. Okay, I understand that the game is pretty simple and may not look appealing, but I seriously didn't see this game almost anywhere. It has an official site, a Wikipedia page, and recently in February 2015 someone ported it to iOS. And then there are some screenshots and a different version of LaserTank on a Russian site, written in Java. That's it. Nothing else. I think that puts this game into obscure category for sure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lasertank - here's the Wikipedia page, http://perso.cgocable.ca/lasertank/ltank_en.html - and here's the official site. At least I believe that it's official.
  24. Was Star Control II on this list? *goes to check* ...It has been mentioned only once. Alright, let's bump it. I know I heard that Ross would like to take a break from aliens on Game Dungeon for some videos, but still: So Star Control II is about aliens. It's a shoot 'em up\exploration\story-driven adventure game. The shoot 'em up part is more in the region of "Asteroids" and "Sinistar" type of games. Oh, I also need to warn you: the game is on a time limit. You have 4,5 in-game years (or more, depending on some factors) to beat it. It's not really pressuring, though: in-game 4,5 years is quite a bit of time, but still, you need to be aware of it.
