  5. Writing a roleplaying post. I really need to think on this one
  6. Well, last time I played, it was stable. Although sometimes, when you throw three or more dices, it happens that they fly apart from collision. And sometimes cards don't go into the deck as intended. Other than that: it's good Also I never once was disconnected from the server because of a game's whim
  7. I believe the next Game Dungeon episode is Deus Ex, so no worries
  8. Summoners' War. It's a turn-based strategy title for Android phones. And I want to say early on to anyone who might think so upon hearing that it's a phone game: it's NOT Clash of Clans. And, unlike most games, you actually earn the "diamond" currency (crystals in this case) by basically playing, meaning you don't have to pay anything. Also it's not FarmVille.
  9. I took a look at the complaints here. In my honest opinion: this thread is starting to turn into a second, more extreme version of "Video Game Pet Peeves". Aren't we talking about mechanics that we want to see, well, DIE? A third of the complaints here just seem to focus on things that can be done pretty well, or heck, there are games that do a good job with these mechanics. You kill the mechanics people complained about in that third of complaints - and a good chunk of the games will become ruined, or they'll be gone and we would never had a joy of playing them. And about QTE: Asura's Wrath and God of War. I'll say nothing else.
  10. 2699 - The number of attempts The Cult of the Ancient Egypt had while trying to rise to power once more. This time it was aliens from Pluto that ruined everything.
  11. You'll get bonus points if you take your time to look through some of quantum physics laws, memorize them and use them in your acting. Except string theory, because Freeman doesn't seem to believe that in the series. He also regards those, who do believe in it, as cultists. So yeah ^^
  12. I may probably get some flak for being rude, but would you kindly shut up and forget about it? Thanks in advance. OT: Final Fantasy 3. No, not that Final Fantasy 3, I'm talking about the NES game. Anyway, I now officially dislike floating demonic heads even more.
  13. I don't mind it personally. Gives me an incentive to be more careful, and also plan more. I'd be probably told '"think more? That's for tacticals!", but I believe in a fact that every game should keep your brain active. Otherwise it's just a TV show you interact with (looking at you, Heavy Rain). Besides: if you take away fall damage from every game that implements it, the majority would be way too easy. (NOTE: I know you never said anything about removing fall damage from every game, I'm simply providing my reasoning, and saving you a couple of strokes on the keyboard) However, I can tell you where it feels out of place: Borderlands 1 and Quake III Arena (and Quake Live for that extent). For the first one: why Gearbox implemented fall damage in the first game, while the rest don't even have it? For Quake III Arena: it's a galactic arena, you shouldn't get fall damage there, of all places! The Arena Masters should've known that dying from falling is boring! And regarding Quake 1's realism: when blasting Lovecraftian creatures in the face with a shotgun was ever realistic?

  15. It took me one search to figure out that there's no topic about Tabletop Simulator. Let's fix that! So what is Tabletop Simulator? Well, it's exactly what it says on the tin: you can play tabletop games with this. Card games, chess, D&D - you name it. The controls take a bit of a time to get used to, but other than that, it's a good game to play with friends, and it's one of those simulators which are worth playing! And nope, you won't find any goats in there!... I think. WARNING: It often has quite a healthy diet of a full plate of time! Don't overfeed it please, or it'll start to tire you out! From my personal opinion: Not only I liked this game, it has a quite large workshop content, and many famous\infamous games made it there thanks to community. Yes, Cards Against Humanity is there too. So in short: if you don't have it, please consider getting it. Unless you don't like tabletop games, that is. Or if you already have it: if you have any stories to share - go ahead!
  16. Wha? Oh HELL NO DO NOT SELL IT! It may end up in the hands of some random greedy bastard, and in return you'll just get some useless scrap! Or a Ghastly Gibus! Nope. Methinks you should keep it OT: Tabletop Simulator. Tabletop Castlevania again, but this time I tried it solo. Aaaand I lost on the final boss... because Lady Luck wasn't on my side. Dammit.

  18. Modern Russian hip-hop. IMO, it's even worse than the common rap songs about thug life and money, because from the latter I at least liked a couple. From Russian hip-hop? I liked none of the songs. They suck, plain and simple. Favourite compositor of classical music? I played an expansion of the first Neverwinter Nights, called Shadow of the Undrentide. It has one of the best dragon characters I've seen in Forgotten Realms *looks up Squamous Spewer* It's... pretty adorable!... Okay, not really XD
  19. oh noes not those guys please no ;_; <== played Afraid of Monsters, hence why is so freaked out
  20. Watching Summer Games Done Quick 2016 videos. Currently on Braid.
  21. Okay, I watched the beginning of Far Cry 3. And I can see and understand what you mean. And now that you mentioned lengthy tutorials: Borderlands 2 is pretty guilty of this, and I consider the entire Liar's Berg as a tutorial section, up to and until the battle with Captain Flynt (opinions may differ on this). First Borderlands and the Pre-Sequel handled the tutorials much better, IMO. OT: Ludicrous placement of save points. I don't like when they're placed way too far in between them, and when there are too few of them (I heard about one Yu-Gi-Oh game where there is only ONE save point). And also I hate when they're placed in such places that make progressing more of a hassle than before. Or worse: make you lose as soon as you loaded the save. "Loading... Done! WHOOPS! You fell into lava, because the save point was on top of the crumbling platform! Loading..."
  22. Regarding Far Cry 3: are you talking about the original, or the Blood Dragon?
  23. LaserTank. Got stuck on one particularly brutal level. I think I really need to think outside the box to solve it.
  24. Nobody has been ignoring and\or forgotten about you, Freeman, you're just being paranoid.
