Yes, it is cheaper. But that also means you have to pick the hardware that you want and that won't cause problems. And then there's the assembling part. The fully assembled computers, in my opinion, exist because some people don't want to go through that or don't know how to, and the price for that is a higher money cost. But I'm sure that on this forum the most viable option is to assemble your own computer. I mean, there are computer hardware experts here, and you can ask them in case you have trouble with something
