Trying to find a nice minecraft server to start playing on again.

I have gone on AF on a total of 2 computers: mine, my laptop once (never use the thing), and at work once when I was really bored. I try to hide my bronyism, but not very hard. When watching pony stuff I usually block the view of my screen with my body a bit, and if someone is right behind me I'll switch tabs and do something else for a bit, but really I don't know why. Firstly, I doubt anyone cares, secondly, I have a bunch of blindbags above my monitor, and thirdly, my facebook timeline cover is Derpy and my profile pic is Crackle. In other words, all it would take is the desire to know and you'd find out. Hell, at work I'm more open about it than normal. My boss and half the staff are fully aware, I always bring blindbag Pinkie with me and put it on the front desk with me, and I've converted 2 coworkers.

Doing exactly the same thing I was doing yesterday and the day before that, except now it's no longer procrastinating 'cause I am done with school.

Hey, that PMV! Seriously. Is that meant to be a "Seriously?": or a "Seriously, it is": But yeah, that is the best PMV(probably the only one with its own T-shirt design), but not my favorite. My favorite / the one I hope I'm one day as good as is , hence why half of my pmvs are AWOLnation. Also Pinkie Sparrow is extremely good quality with its lip synching, consistency of characters, and clip selection. However, it is not best because it doesn't blend the two so much as just lay MLP over Lonely Island perfectly. My favorite PMVers are TommyXe, MMMandarinOrange, shiropoint, and LimeyLassen, the last of which is actually subbed to me (yay).

Yeah, I'm sure Vegas is easier to use than AE. I just know AE better for whatever reason. Now pick a song and start picking out clips. If you are going to add effects, take that into consideration, specifically which scenes would have a freeze frame and which ones will have more than one shot on screen at once. If a clip lasts exactly as long as the part of the music it's no good, you need extra time for transitioning to the next clip. Oh, and I've been meaning to write this here but kept getting distracted: I started readin the Fallout Equestria Side story Pink Eyes. I'm alomst at the end, and I love the whole thing. The writing isn't nearly as good, but the characters are much more endearing and the whole message is awesome. Also I keep finding awesome quotes: I love Puppysmiles. The original story was all about removing innocence from FiM and making it brutal, and this character is perfectly built to not only ignore the brutal, but be immune to it, and bring the innocence BACK. I love it.

I got HL1 when it was on sale for a dollar for the tenth anniversary. I made it to the end but never beat the giant baby dude. Oh, and I suppose I never said, I'm 18 but will spontaneously be a year older at the end of the month.

I wish I could use Vegas for effects, but I can't figure it out. I just understand AE better than Vegas (thanks to Andrew Kramer). But if you can do it, do it. was made using exclusively Vegas. I also think it's amazingly intuitive and great for editing; Adobe is known for making horrible interfaces.

The only one of those songs I've seen done was "A kind of magic", done by the manliest brony in the world, dustykatt. I'm also a big fan of special effects in a PMV. Like I said, take another look at the lyrics. Another thing to pay attention to is if the song has long periods without any lyrics. Those are great for putting in some story elements but can ruin a literal PMV. Also if a certain line is repeated too often it can be hard to find a bunch of clips of people doing it (you may think there are lots of times that characters want it all, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to find stuff once the obvious is gone). Luckily, lip synching can be a big help there. Lip synching is also really easy to do, but hard to do well. As long as the mouth is closed when there's no sound and open when there is, you're fine. Any specific program/programs you have in mind that you want to use? I personally use Vegas for simple PMVs and rough cuts, then use After Effects for... effects afterwards. But whatever you plan on using will be fine.

Great, more competition... First check if any of them have been done. Even if they suck and you could do better, it's a good way to narrow down the choices. Then take a deep look at the lyrics and make sure theres stuff you can work with. Just because a title is very related to something common in ponydom doesn't mean the lyrics are (my safety dance video, for example, only has dancing during the chorus, otherwise it has random stuff like interplanetary travel and losing control). Also keep in mind however you're going to do it: simple PMV or special effects, literal interpretation or telling a story, intelligent or emotional, etc. I've actually been contemplating writing a guide to PMV making, just because I have a feeling that lots of people just need it explained, because it's really not that hard.

I answered it, but I chose the answer that will be correct in a little less than 3 weeks.

I occasionally say "curses!" The last time I swore AT someone was when I stood up, hit my head on my bunk bed (dorm), and my roommate said (after I hit my head) "hey, careful you don't hit your head." Between the pain, the sarcasm, and the fact that I really don't like him, I said, "fuck you," then sat back down. He was genuinely surprised and entertained at my swearing. The next time it happened I gave him the finger, except I never actually lifted my middle finger. I just kind of positioned my fist in the exact way you would if you were flipping someone off. My family swears much more than I do, and they know it, and I will usually jokingly say "watch the language young man/woman" to them, and yes they are all older than me. Also I'll swear if everyone else is and it just sounds weird if I don't, though usually it just sounds even weirder because as previously mentioned I suck at swearing.

Where was this? Remember a while back when I said I was working on a pony-based video game? Well, we have a forum and design wiki. And all the programmers have access to the site's code, since it's going to be a browser-based java game. It often leads to shenanigans. Also once they made Lyra do her Lyra jump onto the screen at random intervals. Freaked me the hell out the first time, and I spent the next ten minutes staring at the screen trying to find out whether I had gone crazy or not.

One of the other forums I go to is pretty much run by bronies with serious programming skills. On April Fools the whole site just started spinning as the seapony song and dance played. It was good times.

I swear more on the internet than irl, but that's not saying much. I pretty much don't swear AT ALL irl. It used to be because the less you swear, the more powerful it is when you do, but at this point I don't do it just because I suck at it. Seriously, not swearing for 18 years makes it so that when you just can't commit to any bad words. But like I said, I swear more on the internet. It's a different enviroment, and I don't have to worry about messing up the delivery. But usually it's just for emphasis or comedic potential, I rarely ever swear AT someone.

I've got a better one with all the mane 6 and more TF2 people. DmZ2a8sCzz4

^this Though the fight with a skyrim dragon was rather uneventful.

At least this time I was the first guy, unlike the "what are you doing" thread.

...How did I mis that that was already posted -_- ^This being why I actually prefer Corridor Digital over FreddieW. I like them both. Corridor Digital has the better effects and more intricae videos, but Freddie puts more of them out and has behind the scenes. They both have their high points and low points writing wise, but Freddie usually works on a more emotional level whereas Corridor Digital just likes being clever.

I counter your internet web series about music with an internet web series about video games. But instead of Tobuscus it has Harley from Epic Meal Time. Also this one is actually good. H8ScNjBd118

I figured as much, actually. Nevermind to that then. And I've been working on this PMV pretty much since I finished my last one, I've just been doing it very, very slowly because I'm lazy and it doesn't have a due date. But now I have motivation to finish it. I suspect you've seen this video:
