Because Hergest Ridge felt like putting a full minute of song with no lyrics, and by that point I gave up on actually doing anything with it and just had her slamming her head into it. Though I liked how she gets her groove back as the music kicks in, I like the juxtaposition. You point out all the times that I put something in their for story reasons that conflicts with the world, and any time I put something in for world-building that conflicts with the story.
