  1. I agree, but I think you could use some more composition practice. Making something look good is not all there is to making it look nice, even if these were just to practice.
  2. Whooves warning about things being too NSFW. Wat.
  3. It is the single best, greatest, most well-constructed musical I have ever seen. I'd say the most well constructed movie, but each of the Edgar Wright films (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim) are so completely stacked with lines and actions that perfectly fit the theming and foreshadow the entire rest of the film and you don't even notice it (get the Hot Fuzz DVD and turn on Fuzz Facts, it will blow your mind). But yes Dr. Horrible is amazing. Each of the songs is sung with such gravitas and the tone of the song perfectly mimics the mood and tension of the situation. The depth of the characters is insane, and the ideas it brings up are thought-provoking and make you reevaluate movies, comic books, cliches, and how you live your life. There are three things that make me cry every time I watch them, and that is one. (The other two are certain episodes of Avatar the last Airbender and there may be a fourth from Justice League, I can't recall).
  4. rediscovering the smudge tool.
  5. here then, have another mylittlebrony.com pic to dissuade you from thinking it will go on too long.
  6. Reminds me of: _p5nlXPFFhI
  7. Bill Hader is amazing though. You should see some of his voice acting, too. Steve Carrell and Will Ferrell are really good comedic actors, but Carrel's serious parts in the Office are just sublime, and Ferrell in Stranger than Fiction is amazing. Comedians can do drama, but not the other way around. As for my favorite comedic actors, I would say Tina Fey, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and everyone in Dr. Horrible's sing along blog.
  8. Calm yo tits.
  9. Lightwave is better, but I think we've had this discussion. Vectoring.
  10. And I knew about it from a friend's link to Escapist. How odd.
  11. On behalf of myself, Chuck, Rarity, Jek Jek Roo, and everyone else, I apologize for making you all feel inadequate. It was not our intention. ... There is no way for me to phrase that to make it not sound like more bragging, is there?
  12. It's like X-files meets Camp Lazlo. But I never watched X-files, so probably not. But I like it, it's got some cleverness to it, and the characters are well done. Also Kristen Shaw is a wonderful voice actress.
  13. Obviously Collective Foal. He plays enough TF2.
  14. Oops. Here, let me have a full 6 then. Take 2
  15. Okay, montage time Rarity! Make a vector of a Fluttershy-like OC with a sax cutie mark playing a saxophone to use as the channel's avatar. Chuck! Start whipping experimenting with using waveforms to create smooth jazz visuals. Me! Start cutting clips out that would be fitting of a saxaphone song. Fluttertank! Get saxaphonin'! We'll make a star/man/picture perfect pony out of you yet!
  16. Is anyone here a fan of the show Gravity Falls? Just curious.
  17. There is now an official map of Equestria: No mention of the Zebra lands, though it does point to where dragons are from and where griffons are from. Also new canon locations: Vanhoover Applewood Macintosh Hills Neighra Falls Hayseed Swamps Crystal Mountains Smokey Mountain And remember in the time travel episode how RD said they searched from Baltimare to Las Pegasus? They really are the two edges of the country.
  18. Then you need to learn to live in the moment.
  19. That is so very old but so very amusing. also, ponies made it into Nerfnow:
  20. There is actually a kinkie pie tumblr, but I'm not linking to it for obvious reasons.
  21. EDIT: nothing to see here, just helping someone out.
  22. New greatest thing ever: Just so much wonderfulness and yesness.
