  1. The pants were dead.
  2. Uploading some of my Dad's Lightwave training videos to Youtube.
  3. That's my point exactly! Nothing he tells me to do is really bad, just annoying, and the way he phrases it makes it sound worse/ makes me feel worse than it is.
  4. Dad: Hey, Daily show is on. Me: Um... I'm kind of in the middle of something, sorry (Literally the first time I have said no) Dad: Oh, you're doing that Dungeons and Dragons thing? ME: Yeah. *half an hour later* Dad: Any idea when you'll be done. Me: Honestly I have no idea. Right now we're in the middle of a fight, could last a few minutes could last a few days *half an hour later* Dad: You know, I'm not going to let you spend half your day on the computer any more. And tomorrow I'm waking you up early. Me: ...Why Dad: We have work to do. Literally the first time I hae said no to any thing he has asked me to do in pretty much a month and he retaliates. It's so incredibley stupid and annoying. The worst part is that he's not doing anything bad enough that would actually make my complaints feel valid. He's just cutting out my internet or waking me up early.
  5. Yeah, we can't do these 4 hour long sessions every night and 2 hours long ones every morning. I don't have that kind of time.
  6. The cleric comes stumbling from the darkness back from where you came. "Oh Pelor, what a headache. But sure, I'll do your cat a favor." He points a finger at the cat and a glowing light extends to coat the cat. The cat feels much better. The rest of the party (except Zoey and Thadeus) turn back to the pit at least 10 feet across and consider how to get to the other side.
  7. The rats, completely ignorant of their kin dying, run up to the invaders. The first leaps up, mouth wide and snarling, but nips at the air and flies right past the wizard. The other goes after the cat, its eternal enemy, and bits at its leg, sinking its teeth deep into the leg.
  8. Ikthias pulls himself up off the ground. Felix is trying to move around through the grass which is about as tall as her. Ikthias digs around in the grass trying to find the source of a noise he's hearing and finds himself staring down a rat as big as his cat. It immediately hisses at you then bites at your toe. A few more can be seen in the background.
  9. As you progress down the hallway, the cobwebs continue, just small ones where the cieling meets the walls. Also as you walk you see under you that the stone beneath you is starting to crack, and little bits of grass spring up from it. Further down you see roots beginning to peak out of the ceiling. All the sudden the ground gives out from under you and folds to the side under the combined weight of two of the travelers (and a cat) and they fall 15 feet onto a bed of grass. The cat lands on it's feet, the wizard falls flat on his face but slowed himself with his arm. The fighter lands on his leg and gets a pretty bad bruise on his knee.
  10. You all look around. The room you are standing in is 20ft square and empty if not for the unlit torches in each of the four corners. The walls are flat but rough and very dusty. A 10-ft wide hallway extends down each side of the room, though the western hallway has collapsed and is filled with dirt and rubble. Above the other three archways are a few words written in Elven. Down the North hallway you see it makes a sharp turn left. You can also see bits of ash on the walls. To the East the hallway extends forward past where the light form the torch reachs and is filled with cobwebs. To the South the hallway makes another sharp turn left.
  11. The group of you follow the strange man in a pointy hat to the middle of the woods away from witnesses without a second thought. He leads you to the center of the nearby woods, where there is a clearing free of trees, except for one tree that had fallen into it. "I covered up the entrance with this log."The Mage pushes the tree and rolls it back a few feet. Under it is a large square double door laying flat on the ground, like a cellar door but made of stone. On it are ornate etchings meant to look like vines and trees, with a large carving of the sun at the top. The Mage grabs the handle of one door and pulls, using all his might to open the large stone door. He then does the same to the door on the other side. "Okay, go down that ladder and grab my stuff. I'll see you when you get back up here."
  12. HK don't hurt me. Don't hurt me. No more.
  13. Jek Jek is online when you aren't, so that will be tough. However, since he'll be offline for the next few days anyway, we can move the schedule forward some. We're also going to need to schedule this better in general. Or maybe not. All I know is that people WILL have to leave at points during the game, and we'll have to be okay with that. You guys seem to do fine without me (RPing is fun), and most people are okay with just having their characters quietly in the background. The only time stuff gets real intense is during combat. Also sorry about randomly leaving, I was going to install something in my sister's computer for her and ended up having to reconfigure our internet.
  14. "I'll walk you out there. It's not even a mile out from here. You guys can go in there and grab the artifacts, then I'll be outside the door waiting for them." he finished his brandy and pput some gold on the countertop. "Not that I don't trust you, I just want to be right there as soon as you get them. Actually, scratch that, I trust all of you except the girl who just said out loud that she's running from the guards. I'd keep an eye on her if I were you." And yes, he does know that he's saying that right in front of her. "Now if someone will move that priest out of the way, we can leave."
  15. "The books didn't say much, but they are valuable, and powerful. I made it one step into getting the first one before I nearly got hit with a fireball. I suppose I could use it as a weapon, but I'm just doing this for the academic status. Who needs a thesis when you've got ancient artifacts?"
  16. "Middle of the woods, there's this random door in thr ground. I went back to the college and looked it up, turns out it houses the forces of nature itself, but in physical form. I don't know what they look like, but there are four of them. Grab 'em, bring them back to me so I can look them over, then I'll let you keep two of them."
  17. The wizard man ignores the bickering going on and answers the questions straight. "I don't need a guide, I know where I'm going, and I don't need protection 'cause I'm not stepping foot in that place again." He sips his drink. "And if you want payment, well I'll let you keep half of what you find." "As for if I need a medic, no. But you might want to keep one handy yourselves."
  18. "La dee da, just going about my business- Oh! you look like you could use a healing spell. That's okay, I didn't need to cast Light today anyway. Cure minor wounds!" And now you cannot cast Light today. That's pretty much how it works.
  19. As all of you are talking/quietly enjoying your meal, the door to the tavern slams open. In walks a very grumpy looking man in deep purple wizard robes. The bottom of his robes are singed from fire and still leaving a smoke trail. He takes a seat on a bar stool and sets his big pointy wizard hat next to him. "A brandy and a glass of water, please." He downs the brandy and pours the water on the smoking part of his robes, putting out the little ember. He lets out a resigned sigh As the bartender pours him another glass he looks around the bar. He des a double take at seeing the group of adventurers at the table behind him. He spins the barstool around to talk to you. "Hey, you guys look like you can handle yourselves. Wanna do me a favor?"
  20. Thank you, that makes stuff easier for me and probably everyone else too. Oh, and Jek Jek Roo, I've been meaning to tell you: you should take the cure spells off of your prepared spells. As a cleric you can cast a cure spell in place of any other spell you've got prepared, it's called "spontaneous casting."
  21. Bragging: Elcor communication is far superior to both.
  22. Okay, I have limited myself to just the Fre For All sectin of the forum (and as of late two threads in forum ames) but feel the need to ask this question WHY CAN'T WE PUT PICS IN OUR SIGNATURES
  23. So Whooves', Twilight Sparkle's and my fic just published another chapter. Enjoy.
