  2. My current desktop. I love the slide show feature of Windows 7 since I have a folder of 385 pictures I cycle through. And yes those are 4 different web browsers in my taskbar, I like having the ability to use whichever is most appropriate when I need it. Also on this computer I have ubuntu 11.10 and BackTrack5. It's kind of funny, ubuntu displays the clock and logout button twice, but the picture spans the monitors nicely, in windows 7 the taskbar is only displayed once, but the pictures don't span very well. BackTrack just does not play well with dual monitors, will only duplicate my display. EDIT: Added ubuntu and BT desktops.
  3. Haven't heard that one before, sounds pretty cool. Welcome to the forums. I think it sounds cooler than it is, unless your idea of cool are the nuances of file systems. I do enjoy it though, it's a relatively new field so there are plenty of unexplored/partially explored topics and research topics are fairly easy to find.
  4. Awesome! iirc, part of the problem was that there was only one mod (besides Ross) and he wasn't very active. It looks like you guys have already solved that problem; both with the number of mods and their levels of activity. It's a shame the old forum is gone now, but onward and upward!
  5. Obligatory Introduction post: Gender: Male Age: 21 Country: USA Occupation: Student in Computer Forensics Why I'm Here: Been a fan since almost the very beginning (early 2007), lost interest when the old forum went dead, was aware of the transition to AF but didn't come until now. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do.....
  6. Ah, the good old days, when there were like 20 registered members of the forums and probably only as many threads..... That is until the spam bots took over and started posting about porn and viagra.
