That's right, I'm norwegian and yes I speak fluent english, i speak more english then norwegian in fact, I just have some trouble with grammar (no matter what language). And how I happen to be on at the same time as everyone else is because I'm always on if im not at work or at the store or something like that, lol.

Brownie points is just a figure of speech, a joke, just because I didn't want them thinking they had to change their own stats to make up for letting every one else keep theirs that were a little higher. It's really just like a +rep, essentially meaningless but nice to get at least. And you haven't "fucked up" your character sheet, you're just having trouble with the numbers, which is a pretty small part of the game but necessary and needlessly confusing. I will not make your character for you, building a character will give you a more personal connection to it. I do not have some specific build I want you all to have, I just want you all to be balanced. The suggestions I gave were merely that, suggestions, because you asked me to say how to fix them instead of just that you need to fix them, and I even gave you different choices. I'm sorry that we got off on the wrong foot, but I'm just trying to get everyone off on a good start. -i'm sorry too, its just I woked for several hours to help several people get their sheets up and running, just feels a bit like that doesnt matter lol

And just out of curiosity, are you going to be favorable toward Jek and Srake since they didnt make a mistake, since that's what 'having brownie points' or whatever has always ment with anyone I've talked to?

Yeah I would start working over every single character sheet I worked on, but what's the point, I'll just fuck it up more, better to let mister DM make them for us, since he knows how he wants them

How about you make the character sheets for us them dm, since i clearly fucked up.

About the stat thing, can't we just keep them as they are? It's close enough and fiddling too much like that is just annoying

About my backstory, as Ikthias mentioned several times our characters are half-brothers, I was raised with my mother for the majority of my life, but I didn't fit into elven society so she sendt me to live with my father in human society where I found out he had taken a human mate and produced my half-brother. My character is a simple guy, being chaotic good (will alter that with ability rolls when I know what numbers to use) he more or less just goes with the flow and does good deeds where he goes, though some money/loot helps making things priority for him.

+1 DM brownie points, though if I ever get PC he will be that noble. And you guys don't have to tell your backstory here if you don't want to. You'll get to tell it to everyone else in the bar. Oh, and so far Jek Jek Roo is the only person to have their ability scores right. Probably a good idea. I might as well make that right away then, and make the first page basically be a page with references to tools, character sheets and such?

I suggest that once we get things going we make a seperate thread for the adventure and keep this tread as a help/discussion thread, that sound good?

Theres a link to the D&D wiki on the first post, you can use that to look up things like details about your class etc.

I think its settled on 3.0/3.5 (they are basically the same with some revisions), and neither pally or ranger are taken as far as i know

So, since we've got a new DM I feel I should ask again, are custom/open source races/classes allowed as long as they aren't broken?

To be honest I haven't played a fighter before, but new classes are always fun to try out IMO. ^^

If you look at the wiki for your class, it should tell you how many skill points you have, it'll look something like this X+Int mod skill points or something like that I think.
