That's cool, I've been planning to check out Shadowrun for a while to be honest, from what I've heard it seemed interesting.

I don't know enough about Shadowrun (yet) to be able to say if I agree or not, but I appreciate the reply ^.^

System Shock 2, maybe. Majora's Mask, eeeh, dunno. I can take the job with Majora's Mask, being a huge zelda fanatic, while you can do System Shock 2 considering I never managed to get it to work on any of my computers xD

Gamma World I recently found this game fairly cheap at a local gaming site, and to be honest, I really like it, here is a little more in depth of why. Gamma World is a RPG akin to Dungeons and Dragons, anyone who have played D&D will almost instantly be able to draw several similarities between them, however, Gamma World does a few things very differently, for instance it is more technology based while D&D is generally more magic focused. It's also a plus in my opinion that you can play it without any prior experience with D&D. Setting The setting is very interesting, as it doesn't really have any limits beyond the DM's imagination, even more so then most RPG's, the basis of the backstory is as follows, in 2012 experiments involving the Large Hadron Collider, causing all possible realities to merge into one, for instance in one reality various wars might have had different outcomes, or never happened at all, or a scientist takes over the world with machine men. 150 years has passed since this event and as a result, the earth is now a very different place, mutation, anicent ruins and jungles of never before seen plants have appeared everywhere, even humanity itself has changed after over a hundred years of exposure to radioactivity, mutagens and other such substances. Character Creation Now here is where I expect options to be vastly separated, because the character creation is pretty different from standard D&D with no set races or classes to choose from, instead what you do is rolling 2 twenty sided dice which choose your primary and secondary origin, these origins decide what you look like and what your abilities are. The reason i like this system is because it puts emphasis on creativity, as your origin doesn't give you an exact look for your character, for instance: you might have a character who has the origins Android and Seismic, so combining the two you might get a android mole for instance, or how about the origins Plant and Radioactive, you could be a big plant who's mutated and achieved sentience through mutation, or a human who merged with plants upon exposure. It's all up to your imagination. So lets go through the process of creating a character, so you can see how it would work, I'm putting this in a spoiler tag so you can skip it if you don't want to read it and it takes up less space: As I'm sure you've gathered by now, I really like this RPG personally and would recommend anyone who are interested to check it out. Thadeus was indeed sleeping, he was laying on his side still wearing his armor and using his backpack as a pillow.

After consulting Ikthias about the gem he thanks him and puts it into his backpack before getting out some of his own food and water, having a little of both before packing them away. While the others go about their buisness he cleans his sword of the rat blood on it so it won't rust. Once he's done with that he sits down against a wall to get some rest and treat his minor injuries.

When he's climbed out Thadeus pulls out what he found in the pit "Hey any of you know what this might be and what its worth?" hes holding a fly sized pink gem in his hand.

After having taken a look around the pit and pocketed something Thadeus climbs out as well with little trouble.

Thadeus attacks the closest rat, the one that missed Ikthias, and his blade cleaves it in two as if it was made of butter.

I head through the door after the cat

Thad draws his sword and readies his shield, just to be on the safe side.

"I guess I'll take point, being the one with the most armor". Thad says as he starts climbing down the ladder.

Thad is currently checking on the condition of his weapons, wanting to make sure they're ready in case of some fighting.

Snaps back to the present, having been away in my own world while the arguements and such went on, come back to my senses "That reminds me, I never introduced myself, the name is Thadeus"

Thadeus notices Ikthias come down as he looks over "finally done with your books for now?"

I'm not as versetile as our wizard friend here or anything like that, but my blade is sharp.

*Sits down at the table* So, what kind of beasts are we talking about?

*I soon approch as well, having overheard parts of the conversation* "Excuse me, but I couldn't help but overhear that you mentioned needing the help of a fighter or warrior? I happen to be one and looking for employment"

Hopefully the game is started within 45 minutes, since there is only 45 minutes left of monday (n local time) XD

In My Opinion

So yeah, it's starting to look like we'll be ready to play IMO.
