How are you? BECAUSE I'M A POTATO!

Granted, but you have no plutonium, so it can't even drive normally. I wish I had another fan in my room.
-
Granted, but you now have a mute man beating you with a crowbar in your bed. I wish I had a uncorruptable wish.

Granted, but they are now on fire. I wish my soda was cold.

Top 5 Emotional Gaming Experiences Welcome to this little top 5 list of mine, here I will go through some of the most emotional experiences I've had in gaming, feel free to post your own views on my list or your own list below, without further ado, let's go. 5: Legened of Zelda Ocarina of Time I'm kind of cheating with this one as the emotional meaning comes from assossiations with the game, not from the game itself on a technical level, hense why its so low on the list. Now then, with that out of the way, the reason it's on the list in the first place is because I used to play this game over at my aunt's place, before I got the game for myself, when I hear the intro to the game I can still smell the unique scent in her house, it brings me right back to being a child again. 4: Mother 3 Ahh the Mother series, this series is one of those that everyone and no one knows about at the same time. The reason Mother 3 is on this list is because of the entire game tugging at my heartstrings throughout the entire experience, and since saying much more then that will be spoilers, I will include the info in a spoiler tag, view at your own risk. 3: Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask Anyone who played this game knows that it isn't scared of mixing in the emotional scenes, since this game is a lot older and a lot more people have played it, I wont add a spoiler tag for this one, just give you a few examples. One of the most emotional parts for me is the fact that the transformation masks Link use throughout his adventure are all basically the bodies of others who died, who let Link use their body after he healed their regrets. Another part that gets to me is the sidequest involving Kafei and Anju, it is however to long to go into detail here unless you want to be here all day. 2: Journey Man, I had a hard time choosing between this and number 1, but finally Journey made it into a strong number 2. Like I said in my review of the game, it's a experience that is very difficult to explain in words, as this game manages to bring out large amounts of emotion without a single line of dialog, without any real backstory. The only way to really explain it is "Go play it if you can" 1: Okami Many people won't agree with me here most likely, but it's my list, I do whatever I want with it. Now, the reason it's here are waist deep in spoilers, so I'll be using the tags again. The game, in my oppion, is beautiful in every sense of the word, I love the graphics, the music and the gameplay, and while I realise that it appeals to a very spesific demographic, that's what I think. WARNING, Whats with in the spoiler tag spoils the ending of the game, you have been warned! With that, this list comes to a close, I look forward to seeing what your emotional moments are.

So, since I'm in a pokemon mood and the site seems to not have enough pokemon for my taste, here's a post where you can post your favorites, I'll start things off with my own list, so without further ado, here are my Top 10 Favorite Pokemon: 10: Scolipede Scolipede is one of the many bug-type pokemon introduced in the 5th generation of pokemon, and I'll admit that I haven't used one in combat... yet. It's here purely because I love its design, I think it looks cool as well as adorable and I want to use one in a future playthrough. 9: Ninetails Ninetails is here because of my love for kitsune (magical foxes in mythology), I simply think ninetails is graceful, pretty and it just looks awesome, though its battle potential is fairly low, so it doesn't have a high entry on the list. 8: Arcanine Arcanine, the canine pokemon of the first generation. I like it for similar reasons that I like ninetails, it's graceful and looks cool and it has a aura of power. 7: Floatzel Floatzel is the first water type to make it onto this list as it is quite frankly adorable. They are also helpful as they help carry people and pokemon who fall into the water using the inflatable 'inner-tube' on its body. 6: Kangaskhan Kangaskhan is a unique pokemon in that she has a large maternal instinct, and i think she simply looks badass, combined with the fact that I love pokemon who care for others. 5: Lugia Lugia is more or less one of the few legndaries I actually like, I like that it looks like a bird without actually being a bird as well as it being flying/psychic which is a unique typing for legendaries. 4: Lucario I like lucario for it's aura related powers, which I relate with my childhood as I could sense peoples aura, combined with its typing (fighting/steel) being unique among non-legendary pokemon. 3: Espeon Espeon is on this list mostly because I used one and raised it from an egg to the high 90's as well as being adorable. It is also a pokemon that can sense the emotions of those around them. 2: Ampharos Ampharos is a pokemon I decided to raise at random once from its Mareep form and found that I really liked it, so much in fact that it became one of my favorites as she was adorable, reliable and had a nice move pool. 1: Miltank And my all time favorite? Miltank. I picked up a miltank after Whitney's miltank wiped the floor with my team for a few days straight I figured I would try out miltank for myself, so I caught one and raised it and oh.my.god! Angel as I called her was a powerhouse on the battle field, not to mention I find miltank adorable and I love milk. There you have it, my top 10 favorite pokemon, what do you all think? Do you have a list of your own? If so feel free to share it as I would love to hear it.

My Games of the Year 2012: 10. X-Com Enemy Unknown This game makes the list as it is a honestly challenging and fun strategy game, the first game of the genre ive felt that about in a good while, it has its flaws of course, which is why it doesn’t strike a higher point on my list. 9. Mass effect 3 While I am one of the ones that don't like the ending to the trilogy, I do enjoy the game itself for the most part. It does have a few things that bug me, which is why its this low on my list, to me I enjoyed the RPG parts of mass effect 1, which they went more and more away from with the future installments, but as action games i like them. 8. Guild Wars 2 Guild Wars 2 is on this list for the quite simple fact that its a example of a MMORPG done right, a massive world, incentive and encouragements to explore the world, dynamic quests that you can do with anyone that are in the area and a interesting personal story where it feels like you actually make a difference, as opposed to games like WoW where your character doesn’t feel like it matters in the story, it could have been exchanged for any other character running around. 7.Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 CoD:BOPS2 is quite frankly one of the best CoD games to date in my opinion, the game has a fun story mode and FOR ONCE THE MULTIPLAYER IS FUN! It's a miracle! 6. Pokemon Black 2/White 2 Me being a pokemon fan, it's obvious this would make my list, and while I haven't gotten far in the game overall, I love that the games are filled with more personality and story now in the last few sets of games, you actually see how characters evolve and change over the time between B/W and B2/W2. 5. Far Cry 3 I was very skeptical to this game before I saw my friend Alyxx play it in person, which made me make up my mind that it seemed interesting and I love it, it's only been out for a short while, but it is still good enough for me to feel it deserves a spot here on the list. There are simply so much content you get when you buy it. 4. Okami HD Okay, if you know me at all you would know this game would make an appearance, but I don’t feel it's right of me to put a higher spot as its a remake, but a extremely glorious remake as it makes the unique graphics even more magnificent. 3. Paper Mario Sticker Star One of the original releases for the 3DS that I have really fallen for, I really love the humor and the combat is new and challenging, with more of a item management aspect then RPG. 2. Borderlands 2 Man I love this game, and the flow of DLC means the game constantly has new content, new guns, new enemies and new hilarious dialog to make you fall out of your chair laughing. This is truly a hilarious and challenging game, not to mention a 100% cooperative campaign makes it so you can enjoy the entire game with a friend (or three). 1. Journey Once again, if you know me you should be able to predict this making this spot, Journey is a game that truly touched me somewhere I didn’t expect games to be able to, it made me feel excited, touched, sad and everything in-between. The coop is integrated ingeniously in that you don’t know when you have someone else joining you, you cant communicate with the person, but somehow the presence of someone else makes you feel safe and you start caring for the other person, showing each other where to find hidden things and such, and making the journey together is one of the most powerful feelings I've felt in gaming, before we separate seeing the other draw a heart in the snow with their feet is such a amazing feeling i struggle to describe how it felt. Without a doubt, Journey is my GoTY, no contest.
