Make it clear to him where you stand. You have to be a little rude, which sucks, or else he won't get that you're serious. I don't think you should remain friends with someone because of pure pity. And for what it's worth, I don't think you're an awful person.

Martin informs the United States of America about the oil hidden near the hill. USA proceeds with a little friendly invasion whilst eradicating any resistance including Username. A few years later when American soldiers had left the hill Martin claims it using a flag with a smiley face on it.

I tend to swear a lot both on the internet and in real life whenever something bad happens. I usually just say "satans!" or "for satan!" which means that you blame satan.. Sort of. As long as people don't complain about me swearing then I think I'll keep doing it "casually".
