Huge blast at Japan nuclear power plant
Razor235 replied to QKey's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Those who try to make everything foolproof underestimate the ingenuity of fools. -
Well, that was a big load of bullshit. Here's something for the "Planetary Alignment" crowd: The last time you spread your crap, when the planets actually lined up, what happened? Did the world end? NO! The oceans rose 1 millimetre. For Planet X: I'm pretty damn sure that that would no longer be a secret, as the amateur astronomers with more-high-powered telescopes detect Nibiru within a year of impact. Comet/asteroid/other-body, same thing. Global warming has merit, but there have been heating/cooling cycles for the entire history of Earth. As for black holes, just shut up. In short, I am not listening to any idiot theories about 2012 and the Long Count.

Google is our friend - Mayan Calendar
Razor235 replied to eat911's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
People, the Mayans ran out of space on that stone to write the symbols of their calendar. Or, it's just a normal cycle for growth. The world doesn't end every New Year's, why should it end every long count cycle? -
Don't ask me that, I have too much trouble deciding. My cats (Mac and PC) love me, and vice versa, same with my dog Chip. PC sleeps with me every night, Chip plays with me, and I take Mac for walks around the neighborhood. One off-topic remark about PC, is that she got a virus, while Mac, he didn't. Chip just broke his leg. As for the question, I would have to say cats, they cuddle up with you, and sort of respect your space, while dogs occasionally annoy the hell out of you. But, it's not black and white, dogs are much more playful if you want fun, cats, not so much. Cats will sit on you if you just want some peace and quiet, dogs tend to run around, and by the time they are old enough not to, most are too heavy or big to sit on you or with you. Also, cats can get stuck in very small places, and both can eat something they shouldn't. For me, it is a very close tie between the two.

Lol, I'd seen that joke in Bathroom Reader! For one of my own: Rene Descartes ("I think, therefore I am") walks into a bar. He orders a beer and drinks it. When he finishes, the bartender asks if he wants another. Descartes says, "I think not," then promptly disappears in a puff of logic.

Anyway...

I'm Razor235, also unknown to those on Youtube as PizzaPirateNinja8128. Joined a few days ago. I specialize in things that go BOOM! Local encyclopedia of scientific and philosophical (sometimes) topics, as well as some gaming and techno topics. It helps that I have photographic memory. Ask me something, and I'll probably give you an answer, but no promises.

I wanted to slap her to get her to shut up! Stupidity is a hallmark of those that use that as an argument.

Let the potheads have it. They'll wipe themselves from the gene pool in a few years. (I hope. I really, REALLY hope.)

Evolution vs. Creation being taught in schools
Razor235 replied to BTGBullseye's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Find one, ONE scientist who finds this scientific fact. I'll give you a hint, it's impossible. In order to be scientific fact, it must have been a scientific hypothesis. In order to be that, it has to be TESTABLE! Notice that word? Testable. That is the entire hitch in your "scientific" argument that is falling to pieces. -
Hmmm...... I am neither. I went through a transhuman operation. Currently assigned at what used to be Citadel 17, in the city of the same number. 541st Battalion, explosives division.

Same exact thing happened to me. (mocking teacher voice) Oh, you shouldn't read ahead, you'll become too smart and find out how much of a crapsack world we live in. No, we want you to be a dumb sheep, so that you'll become mindless zombies to whatever the government wants.

Wouldn't work, a magnetic field (at least not the ones that can be generated on a warhead) doesn't keep matter separated from matter (or antimatter). It only alters the field of an atom in a way that repels certain other atoms, not all of them.

Overmilked story. So many murders happen every year, and they single out this wacko, making her famous (just what she wants). Just, wow.

What is Your Favourite Freeman's Mind Quote/Episode/Moment
Razor235 replied to Trickiert's topic in Freeman's Mind
(Mocking voice) "Follow my advice and you'll die just like me HUAHA!" -
I had seen it in the thumbnail for featured videos, on pretty much everything that I watched. Like everybody else, I thought it was a dumbass 6 year old trying to be funny. Finally, I said, "what the hell, might as well just check it out." I was hooked. I think it was at one of the episodes just before the Tentacle died.

Pistols make them nervous. Shotguns scare the SHIT out of them.

Straight and don't give a damn. I don't care what sexuality they are, as long as they are good people.

A little is okay, shielding kids from really gruesome scenes, or nasty porn, but anyway, it's time to stop babying them. Explain to them what happens, so that they don't do something stupid, but otherwise let them see the world. Why did we select random words and make them taboo? IT'S A FUCKING WORD!!!! Why shield them from something that is really not that offensive, that they will experience in life? Racism, keeping that away and explaining it, and forbidding them from doing it, that's great! Keep them from saying something inoffensive, that's stupid!

Recent CERN neutrino experiment
Razor235 replied to alphabetagamma's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Hmm, did Aperture science use the ASHPD to portal the neutrinos to the detector? -
This is a great idea. If you think about it, a Happy Meal costs $5,000. Whatever amount for the "food," the rest for coronary bypass surgery. So, this tax is saving you money, in the long run.

They're just reported on. The crap they do (smoke, drink, eat shit food, do drugs) probably doesn't help.
