I saw Prometheus as well the other day, and I have to say I'm disappointed. Some elements of the story just didn't make sense and there's a terrible sense that a lot of the key plot points were deliberately withheld because they knew they would a make a sequel. This wouldn't be so bad except the film became difficult to understand on its own. It's still good cinematography wise with some pretty gruesome scenes that rival the famous 'chest burster' scene from the first Alien, but on the whole the negatives did not outweigh the positives imo.

Yeah, most of the weapons you could craft in fallout 3 doesn't make a return. Those that do can't be crafted either.

Even if that means New Vegas wouldn't have existed? I don't know if you played that one but it's pretty good. It's essentially Van Buren (the cancelled Fallout 3 by Interplay) but with altered details and a different engine.

Well considering how Fallout 3 was made by completely different people, I'd say they did a pretty good job. Fallout 3 was the first one I played so it'll always hold a special place in my heart, and besides if it wasn't for Bethesda, the entire franchise might have been dead in the water.

Fallout 1. Got that a while back but only just started playing it. I have to say I was doubtful I would like it considering how old it is and the fact that turn based combat and myself are not on friendly terms. But dear God Fallout 1 is good. Either I'm not as repelled by isomorphic turn based gameplay as I previously thought or the rest of the game is so good it compensates for it. Bottom line is I haven't been this hooked on a single player RPG since the likes of Mass Effect, Deus Ex HR and Fallout 3/NV.

I'm working on Season 3 right now. But I'm also getting close to my exams so time is gonna get tighter from here.

Because by then I would've finished season 3 and one of my exams.

It's been a while since I played that game but I have an impression that you can unlock new characters quicker by going through the subspace emissary mode.

And that's why I can't stand Yahtzee. Feels like he never has anything good to say about anything, though I guess that's his job as a critic. I watch him for the comedy values and it's particularly hilarious when it's games that I've played before, because 9 times out of 10 I can't help but notice what he's saying is true.

I did the same thing, except it crashes if I use my Xbox360 pad and the M&KB controls are abysmal. Agreed, this game is NOT well optimised for PC. There's a lot of glitches as well, sometimes I swear you can look in one direction and see a car coming, quickly look away, and when you look back the car disappears.

Bought Saint's Row 2 the other day off steam. After Zero Punctuation gave it a good score (very rare), I thought I'd check it out. The review Yahtzee gave was pretty accurate: it feels more like a true sequel to San Andreas than GTA 4 is.

I've got an Asian accent, but I'm not sure I can pull off an elderly voice very well.
