  1. I've never fully understood the "if you haven't watched it, you cannot criticize it" argument on something when it is a matter of innate interest and taste. I don't watch the Fast and the Furious films because I don't like car related things, I wouldn't watch MLP because I don't enjoy watching things designed to make children want merchandise.
  2. Fair enough, I just felt really disappointed by it. I take movies really, really, creepily seriously.
  3. Oh, yeah, it's fun. Except I work in the a/v department of a library, so whenever some little kid comes in and wants the fourth Indiana Jones film, I have to force myself to remember so I can find it for him.
  4. I'm half considering just skipping the new movie altogether and pretending it never happened and denying it's existence to anyone who mentions it. Boycotting it would take too much work, as would going on a rant every single time someone brings it up. Yeah, I think I'll go with removing it from my consciousness.
  5. My top three. Pokemon Trainer. Link Zeke and Julie
  6. I think it's a great picture in it's own right, but I don't feel much like it's an image of Ross' Freeman. He's a blank slate and that artist has an interpretation of the character, but I don't see much "Party! Party!" in that version of the character's eyes.
  7. One of the best remakes ever. Too bad they've remade it again... If only this new one was a real prequel instead of this weird preish-remake thing they're doing. They're not even going to speak Norwegian. Makes me so mad I could go and watch the original two movies.
  8. "The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, 'Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?' And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, 'Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.' And we … kill those people. 'Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real.' It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok … But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace." - Bill Hicks My favorite quote of all time. It's the basis on how I live my life.
  9. I'm glad I know I'll never actually develop an interest in MLP. I'm a creepy fanboy with enough things, I don't need ponies to be one of them.
  10. Batman arkham asylum I'm trying to get as many achievements as I can, but I doubt I can finish all the challenges. I can hardly get a combo higher than 35.
  11. Half Life and the Gearbox spin offs and the only games (plus emulators) my computer can play because my computer is a jerkface. Were I to have a better computer, I imagine I'd have cooler things on my desktop.
  12. Strange thing is that this is the healthiest meal I've had in a long time. I had ice cream for breakfast and have been living on nachos and peanut butter for the last few weeks.
  13. Just finished a dinner of frozen pizza, tater tots and pizza rolls with ranch dressing and Dr. Pepper. Fuckin' tasty.
  14. Thanks!
  15. I'm a huge film nerd, so I'll try to keep this brief. I'm way, way into films by Quentin Tarantino, Park Chan-Wook, The Coen Brothers, Takashi Miike, David Cronenberg, David Lynch, John Waters, Neveldine/Taylor, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Gaspar Noe, John Carpenter, Kevin Smith, Christopher Nolan, and George A. Romero. Here's a quick, top my my head list of some my favorite movies, in no real order. Oldboy Kill Bill Barton Fink Videodrome a Face in the Crowd Enter the Void Salo The Big Lebowski The Evil Dead Sunset Boulevard The Fly Star Wars Indiana Jones (the three, of course, there is no fourth Indiana Jones film) The Thing Dolemite The Last Picture Show Breakfast On Pluto Wet Hot American Summer I love many more, but that's all I could come up with in a few minutes.
  16. I'm for it.
  17. Just finished my second viewing. Pretty damn good. "I hear fire, but I don't see fire....it must be Space Fire." is now one of my new favorite phrases.
  18. Okay, I've finally got it. Go to Machinima's channel, scroll through their uploads and you can watch it from their page. Or, at least I can see it now.
  19. Not trying very hard at looking for a job.
  20. Just for confirmation so you know I'm on the up and up, here is another picture of me as a zombie, a different zombie, of course. I like zombies.
  21. Views: 156 Comments: 9 12 Thumbs ups, 1 down. I sure wish I could see it.
  22. Make us a remake with hand puppets!
  23. This was taken about two summers ago, but I look pretty much the same overall. Minus the blood. I was helping a friend with a zombie movie when this was taken.
  24. This sucks. I'm going to go the Gordon Freeman way about this and start shouting, breaking things and drinking. Perfect way to start the day.
