  1. Got to borrow my friend's dad's Ford Mustang 1970 today. He is extremely careful with this car, and usually, the car sits in the garage in perfect condition until the annual cruising during the summer, when he takes it out for one day and then puts it back. Nevertheless, his dad insisted that I drove it (now that I just recently got my drivers license, and Ive been drooling over that car since I was about 11). So (very carefully) we drove off with this mint-condition Mustang. After a while we came to a 4 way intersection, I looked at the driver coming from my left, he seemed to have stopped completely, so I checked all the sides again and drove off. Do you think this asshole stayed? No, he went straight ahead and crashed into the hood. He then got out and started yelling at me, telling me I was driving like an idiot (even though I came from the right and all). Im so fucking sick of idiots in the traffic. Especially when I get to borrow such a nice car, and then I have to call back and tell my friend's dad that its wrecked. Fortunately, it was not a high speed crash (about 10 km/h), so it could have been worse. Still, though, such a damn shame.
  2. The Hateful Eight 7/10 I enjoyed it alot, it was different, sort of like a theater play (like many reviewers have said) but it really worked.
  3. Thank you! I will actually try this later today (I just gotta reinstall WoW first). And the computer crashed once when playing war thunder AFTER I played wow. I will return with results either later today or tomorrow Edit: Well, by some computer magic, the game now runs without any problems. Thanks anyway for the help
  4. I know this feeling... I almost threw up, though, since the drink started going SLOOOOWLY down my throat... You know when someone says: "Think fast!" and they throw you something, like keys for example? The situation gets alot more interesting when said person throws you a car tire. Spent the entire evening waiting for the bleeding to stop. Eventually, we went to the hospital. The SECOND that it was my turn to go in, the bleeding stopped. Doctors had a good laugh, I tried to laugh but it hurt like hell. Its not that bad, though, the doctor said that I can drink without any problems tonight! Happy new year!
  5. I will try this. (one might think that I should've tried it in the first place, although I am still worried since other programs were affected aswell) Thank you! BTGBullseye: Sorry, should've been more specific. It crashes (BSODs) when running wow (although, only in certain areas, instances and draenor) but it also crashed when I was playing War Thunder. My internet started flipping out aswell. Youtube would 404 mid-video, browsers wouldnt start at first and steam really started messing up aswell. I do not have any viruses, believe me I've checked.
  6. Hello! Im not sure if this is supposed to be in the hardware section or here. I apologize beforehand if this is the wrong section. I started playing WoW again a couple of months back, everything worked fine until I bought Warlods of Draenor (patch 6.3). Suddenly my computer started bluescreening and freezing up. As soon as I uninstalled WoW, it completely stopped. I also tried playing on my laptop, same result. Some people have said that I need the newest drivers, I have the newest drivers, it makes no difference. I have an Intel Core i5-2500k and a gtx 970 (msi version, I think). Anyone have any clue on how to fix this? Blizzard support are no help.
  7. My personal favorite
  8. Congratulations, Ross! (a day late) Hope you had a great day
  9. Die Hard series watchthrough is a family tradition in my house... Been doing it nigh on a decade now. Our christmas movie is Inglorious Basterds (for some reason) which just seems to get better everytime I see it. I also watched Frozen today (for the first time) and it was good! 7/10 probably. (my little sister has wanted me to see this for so long, so I finally had to) I really enjoyed how they mixed the movie up, with alot of going back and forth. Humor was spot-on pixar, music was great, and the movie just had a great feeling to it.
  10. Kingsman The Secret Service 8/10 I went into this movie expecting Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. I did NOT expect James Bond takes cocaine, but holy crap did I enjoy it.
  11. Thank you!
  12. A punch would be great thanks! I know this vent sounds really weird, I just had to get it out of me. You dont have to say/do anything. (except maybe punch me in the gut)
  13. Well, time to reinstall Dota 2 just for this! I never stopped believing that this would eventually come out! Thank you, Ross!
  14. These are also very good points. Again, there should be some sort of alternative which doesnt force you into the armed forces. I guess it would be like military school but for adults. But yeah, if someone doesnt want to die, they shouldnt have to, I agree. Edit: I almost forgot, I was employed at mcdonalds for 2 weeks (test period) and boy, was it weird. The first 2 days I got to learn making fries and burgers. I have a very high tolerance for stress, so that was not the problem for me. The problem was that I cannot multi-task in such a high tempo. After those 2 days I was supposed to learn how to use the register but that was a stressful day with LOADS of people wanting food (during the yearly soccer-week, there are about a trillion of norweigan kids here). So instead of training me how to use the register they just put me there and told me to "ask someone if you run into problems". It did not work out. I didnt know what to push (it doesnt say "burgers" or "wraps" it says "B321" and "B451") and when I asked for help I just got stressed people saying: "You dont know THAT? Why are you at the register?!" I also got to work for 3 days and then had a week of, which (for me) is a very bad way to learn and get into the rythm of things. After those "two weeks" (it was more like 5 days total) they told me that I wasnt cut out for that line of work. I feel like if Ive been given more days to work, I might have actually gotten the know-how. The job search goes on...
  15. Yeah, I think helicopter pilots can actually wear lenses (or even glasses) here. Fighter pilot is my dream job but Im too tall and my eyes are too bad. Every person that has done military service (that Ive talked to) says that its one of the best things they ever did. Its really too bad its not mandatory anymore... Alot of people got their lives turned around after the basic training. No thanks, I'd rather not be forced into the military, danke schoen. I can understand that. However, basic training gives you alot of experience for life. You learn alot of valuable skills, certain people get their lifes turned around completely etc. It "turns boys into men". Then again, I totally understand that someone doesnt want to get forced into a war where they may die. It would be great if you could do something like basic military training without joining the military (you cant do that here, dont know about other countries) but that would cost alot of money for the governments...
  16. I always dream about water. I swear, its like 90% of my dreams. Last night I was in a huge locker room shower and talking to a guy that I sort of know, I dont really know what he was talking about but there was an underlying sexual tension and it made me feel really awkward. The night before that I dreamt that I was trying to get to the car with my family but as soon as I left the house I was on the bottom of a "box" of water and my stepdad was laughing at me while I was drowning. I woke up feeling with a slamming heart.

  18. Officer or enlisted? Sorry for the really late answer (I have the memory of a goldfish at times) I was just gonna enlist, I dont think I have the grades or the brains to become an officer. I was thinking about going "Markstrid" (ground combat) which is basically armored vehicles such as tanks and IFVs but also mechanized infantry (or whatever its called). I did a test that you can do online for the swedish military, and I got a 79% at helicopter pilot (even though I have terrible eyesight).
  19. In grade 9, me and a friend used to put on boxing gloves and fight instead of doing what the others did (because we were 2cool4school). One time, we were boxing and he was gonna block a punch. My punch hit his thumb and it turned all blue and swelled up. His hand was shaking for like a week, he couldnt put butter on bread or even open up bottles. He said that it was one of the most intense pains he ever felt. He went to the doctors office and a nerve had been damaged, and he had to have surgery. This wasnt one of my own pains, but it was painful enough watching
  20. Ive been searching and searching, but no one even answers. Im joining the military next summer, let us hope Ill fit in there so that I can have a military career.
  21. We had a big party at a friends house today, 11 people total and everyone knew eachother, so I figured it was gonna be fun as hell. Long story short: One of my friends touched another friends girlfriend between her legs and then when she told him to knock it off, he told her that she was a fucking idiot. She started crying and her boyfriend was there to comfort her, no one was allowed inside (which I can understand) Now Im not gonna stand for people doing that so I ran down the street to the rape-meister and threw a punch at his face. Unfortunetely I am slow when Im drunk so he managed to dodge it and then he ran away giving us the finger. Now my other friend got REALLY drunk, so we had to go to the emergency room with him. We sat there for like 2 hours waiting for him to get his stomach pumped. Of course, the people at the ER have more important things to attend to and, quite frankly, are pretty damn stupid so they wouldnt let him stay the night there, even though he couldnt even get in a wheel chair by himself. He was also puking all over the waiting room and we had to take turns inside the bathroom to make sure he didnt pass out or choked. All in all, one hell of a night to start your birthday.
  22. It was fun seeing everyone losing their shit because you killed innocents. These people have (as Zaraki pointed out), never played Postal. Honestly, this game looks boring as hell (I thought the first Postal was pretty boring aswell) and its obvious they are doing it just for the shock. The cringy dialogue doesnt help either.
  23. I saw Boyhood. I cannot give it a rating because it wasnt really a movie, it was an experience. I recognized myself in almost everything (some things really hit way too close to home). Overall, I really liked it. Also saw: Fargo: 7/10. Just what you would expect from a Coen movie, it was entertaining. Moon: 6/10. Im a big fan of practical effects and sci-fi so this was nice. Interstellar: 3/10. If I were to share my thoughts on this, it would become a novel. I didnt like it. I did LOVE the practical effects, scenery and models. I also enjoyed the 0.2 seconds of shots in space. Requiem for a dream: 8/10. Apocalypse Now: 10/10.
  24. You would be correct. Atleast when I broke the arm I couldnt scream (I also remember it being really hard to breathe). I wish I could describe the pain in detail (and hopefully have someone come in here with charts and stuff to make the discussion even more interesting) but all I can say is: It fucking hurts, and it fucking hurts ALOT.
