  1. Please elaborate.
  2. The Resonance Cascade was caused by an unstable Xen crystal. Not because someone sneezed on the Anti-Mass Spectrometer. i didnt know that, i just assumed it was Gmans doing.. The Gman brought said Xen crystal to Black Mesa.
  3. It looks like he's making a with his fist.
  4. The Resonance Cascade was caused by an unstable Xen crystal. Not because someone sneezed on the Anti-Mass Spectrometer.
  5. Freeman's Mind, but with the Metroid Prime series.
  6. After the Barn Advisor scene in Episode 2: Freeman: (Out of breath) Oh...oh my god. I almost got mindfucked! Literally!
  7. He'll find her annoying at first, but he'll begin to feel a connection when she curses out Dr. Mossman. When she's kidnapped in Anticitizen One, he'll get pissed off but not know why. Throughout Episode 1, he'll enjoy her company, knowing that while the world seems to love fucking with him (Poison headcrabs, Blackout Basements that force him to use his painfully limited flashlight, locked doors), at least he's not alone in his torment. When Alyx gets hurt in Episode Two, he'll start panicking, but drop everything when he finds a new crowbar. Then when he finds her at the Resistance outpost within the mines, he'll start to freak out again and but when she turns out to be fine, he'll deny it, and when he overhears a rebel asking Alyx if Gordon's her boyfriend, he'll cut him off with a resounding "NO."
  8. Not feature Gordon Freeman. Do something else with the universe. Maybe make a documentary about Xen wildlife.
  9. Vortigaunt: The guardian is enraged over our theft of the extract. If it tries to hinder our progress, we will have no choice but to kill it. Alyx: You messed with its eggs? No wonder it's mad. Gordon: Hey just remember, we did it to save you. If I end up as that thing's new bright orange chew toy, that's on your conscience.
  10. I don't see how he could "burn out" as long as he can keep the series interesting, which is really the game's job.
  11. In Episode 2, just after Gordon has tested the Magnusson Device, Magnusson tells him that he might forgive his "microwave casserole" debacle at Black Mesa if he succeeds in protecting the rocket from the Striders. This was supposed to be a reference to the beginning of Half-Life, when the player can turn on a microwave and explode the meal inside. Freeman's Mind states that it was instead a bowl of noodles on the microwave, and that the "microwave casserole" incident was something completely unrelated. That would make the "microwave casserole" incident a "Noodle Incident." Confusing yet?
  12. Exactly. Characters like Judith Mossman and Breen probably weren't so patient with Gordon because he's never done anything for them, as opposed to a character like Magnusson who hated Gordon at first, but then has to eat his words when Gordon successfully defends his rocket.
  13. Eli, Kleiner and Barney are all aware of Gordon's asshole nature, but they let it slide because he's still their friend, and they need him. He's the guy that they can't live with but can't live without.
  14. It's also happened to me with Strong Bad from homestarrunner.com.
  15. ...actually started to think in his voice? (If you know what I'm talking about.) I have.
  16. Gordon needs to cool it with the hair gel.
  17. Thought up another one. Believe it or not, it's even less funny. It's more of a "what I was thinking" sort of thing. Mossman: "I'm not calling about that, You promised you weren't going to touch Eli." Breen: "The soldiers were a bit overzealous, I admit, but he was too tempting a prize to simply turn loose, especially in the absence of Gordon Freeman." Mossman: "You would have had Freeman if you'd been patient and just waited for my signal." Freeman: "I don't even think he was aiming for me, I was just the excuse!"
  18. Why Ray Romano? Because he sounds vaguely like Ross? Besides, Ray Romano has gotten way too old to do the voice of a 27 year old physicist with any accuracy.
  19. The first time I heard it, it fit Gordon beautifully, like that meant to be his voice all along. If Valve was to ever have Freeman speak in a game, they should either A. Hire Ross to do the voice or B. Scrap the idea entirely
