  1. I no longer have an extra copy of Half Life 2. Sucks for anyone who actually wanted it.
  2. Now that Steam Trading has been out for a while now, what do you all think of it? Share success stories, complaints, or cries of indifference here Also feel free to use this page to set up trades. (Edit: Traded my copy of Half Life 2 for a Genuine Pip Boy... nothing to see here now).
  3. I'm pretty sure there is no "HL2 version" of Sven Co-op, unless I'm greatly mistaken. There is Synergy, however; that might be what you're thinking of.
  4. Say Ross, I have a couple programs that may or may not fix some of your problems. The first is F.lux. It automatically adjusts your screen color "warmth" depending on the time of day. Even if it doesn't fix your problem, I've found it very useful for not burning my eyeballs out for late-night work/gaming. There's also an option to disable it if you need to do color-specific work. http://stereopsis.com/flux/ The second is Secunia PSI. It automatically downloads patches for nearly ALL programs on your PC and even notifies you when programs are out of date and have no available patch. Think Steam's auto updater, but for basically any program. It also increased your PC's security level due to huge security holes that out of date programs present. http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ The third is Everything. In a nutshell, if you want to search your PC for a specific file or folder, you simply type it into the search bar and the results pop up near-instantaneously. I've used it over 7's default search utility for some time now due to its speed. http://www.voidtools.com/ Greenshot is a great program for taking screenshots, as you can set where the shots are saved (or automatically opened in a specific program). http://getgreenshot.org/ Paint.net, as you may or may not know, is basically an upgraded version of MSPaint. http://www.getpaint.net/ Looking over all of the different programs you said you were using brought these ones to mind. I hope at least one of these help.
  5. I'd love to help but I have basically no programming experience whatsoever :/
  6. Not bad at all! The main recommendations I have are to pronounce things better (I couldn't understand some things you said) and to try and have a real clincher / punch line at the end of each episode instead of enthusiastically ending it. Other than that, though, it pretty impressive considering you're making fun of almost none of the same things Ross makes fun of. Good job
  7. Yeah, his behavior is a lot like Ellis's, but I personally think his attitude is overall more like Francis. Constantly bitching about everything, but in a way that's hilarious to spectators.
  8. I suspect Dr. Breen acts in a similar manner... he is a villain, after all.
  9. I caused a paradox Boom. Thinking about it, I honestly CANNOT choose. Similar to what others have said, Still Alive is catchier but Want You Gone kinda sneaks up on you. It just drips out pure genius.
  10. I love that Ross is really starting to crank out these episodes at a comparatively lighting-quick pace. Hopefully Machinima will eventually catch on and upload them quicker as well. Great work once again, Ross, and best of luck in all your future endeavors.
  11. Also, May 4th is Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be with you.
  12. Oh yeah, I forgot Doug Rattman. He did start the cake meme, after all.
  13. Obviously, Portal 2 has a much bigger cast of characters than Portal (which has something like 3 total characters). Which one of these characters was your favorite, and what was your favorite line of dialogue / moment involving them? A list of Portal 2 Characters: -Chell -GLaDOS -Wheatly -Cave Johnson -Caroline -Doug Rattman -Aperture Announcement System (that male voice during the first act as well as the "Stalemate Detected" voice) -Generic Turret -Camouflage Turret -Defective Turret (Wisecracking broken gray turret) -Prometheus Turret (The one you save from the turret redemption line) -Frankenturret (Turrets mashed into cubes and re-animated) -Opera Turret (The fat one that sings opera) -Animal King Turret -Rick the Adventure Core -Factual Core (the final corrupt core attached to Wheatly) -Companion Cube (<3) -Space Core (which seems to be presently equivalent to "the cake is a lie" in terms of quoting) That's quite a list... and I'm also probably forgetting one or two obscure characters, but you get the picture. As for my favorite, it's kinda hard to decide. I'd say it's a tie between Cave Johnson's Vitrified Test Chamber commentaries, and the Animal King joke. (Space Core is funny but it's gonna get old fast, I hate to say). So then, what's yours?
