I haven't seen such topic here, so maybe I'll be the first who suggests it. The idea is if it comes to continuing FM in HL2, the whole story can be rewritten by Ross or some other guy, in a funny way, with modern jokes, like... Gordon Freeman wakes up in 1980 in NaziGerman controlled Pohland and G-Man is like Morfius tells him that he took the red pill and has stuff to do and save the world from bad bad germans, so he has to find russian rebels and rise a revolution because he has power to...whatever. You guys get the point Alternate world with more or less reality related jokes. Maybe you have some interesting ideas as well how HL2 storyline can be transformed.

I think not just I noticed how they are simmilar to eachother. Both of them: Know many languages Damn very intelligent Don't give a crap about anyone but themselves Mock everybody around Love being smart...kinda sorta Are in pain ^_^ Are addicted to drugs and alcohol *added* They need glasses to read Help me if I forgot something more about them. But as for me those things are making House and FM just the way I like it. Just interesting and anti-boring. p.s. HL2 - more interractions, more mocking, even more room to practise being an ass with damn cool speech(word) battles.... and there is possibility of Souce SDKing HL2 into something even better then raw HL2, like dialoge modifing, melting with CivProt and so on. As Ross has skills in Source SDK it may be a giant idea for him [Made a topic about it]

That's a new trailer for Half Life with DAMN cool animation. I'd be pissing with gasoline if Ross achieves such level of animating... Actually its Freemans hands and some interactivity that make it look so damn cool but however, every FM fan and our Lord Ross i suggest to watch the vid <3

heh......i wonder how it would be if there would be longer vids instead of 7min ones. maybe 10-15 mins like Robochicken or 22 mins like simpsons of futurama...

Sure he has some access to BM:S - how otherwise could he get those yummy BM:S monsters which make a sonic boom? My bet is that those are not simply shared. Wonder if it will affect any of his plans... btw, if BM:S will be used even before its release - BM:S might get so popular that fans may crush servers simply by DLing it its a Win Win for Ross and BM:S stuff.

Duh....It was soo short, 7 minutes. I'm REALLY glad that FM is now on steroids. and i hope one month later i wake up and watch at least 3 of them at once, like a movie... i hope.

After i watched House, i got that idea Why not releasing every serie one a week, monday maybe. So Ross may create some and hold them up, and after a while start releasing once a week.. I think it would be sweet and maybe will allow ppl to separate FM in seasons using big pauses between series release. I just like to be sure to know when i can go and watch what i want))) All that hoping part "Oh maybe NOW it is out?... Duh >< maybe tomorrow???" just kills me Or...... just estimated release time would be also cool

There are a fair rule - if you want to use anything related to valve's product commercially you have to pay couple percent to the big boss and that's it. But price should be low, because it's actually free for DL

Arent there console-codes to edit every property of a gun OR a source code where everything is programmed??? Besides if there are mods for real AIM thing in hl2 maybe there are some for hl:S

I dont get it machinima sucks a big time with its videorecompressing techniques. And there is such beautiful thing like direct-http-link-download! Why don't use it? I download vids anyway in WMV format or whatever, do everybody have actually to wait before machinima takes time, a week maybe.....to do deeds done? anyway i'm happy about rate at which FM is released... The waiting was too long.....

2Ross If you plan to make a list of people who donated something, helped with something, have done something useful. I'd rather advise not to put their name in videos...because its mostly unwanted information and not very usable. One watch - one chance to see the names. Better way is making a huge list on this site with any type of sorting e.g. names, nicks, icqs, money count whatever - the bright side is - anyone who WANTS to see who is helpful just goes and watches, and that's it. Oh and it could be automated )

Ross, what about making a list of people with size of their donations [let ppl know their heroes] and maybe give donators opportunity to write a line. like "Hey, whats up" or "for greater good" or maybe just "thanks Ross" Some day I will spend some bucks and write "FREEMAN SAVED MY LIFE" *** ADDED

This vote isn't a real mirror of whats happening in fans world... 10 ppl here, 20 there, some don't care at all. And there are some hundreds fans more at machinima.com... so it's really up to OUR glorious master Ross i think. If he will be able to switch to BM:S in time and successfully hold the quality-line put in 1st episode... Then why not? Besides i'm sure some ppl will reject FM completely, and some others who thought that BM:S is a bad idea, will find it still as amusing as before. So if quality rises - it may attract more fans and flush some of them away.

Because "Sound Editing" and "Video Editing" are separate processes. (he just didn't add "Video" on to the other "Editing") Dude, he has Sound Editing-01 and Sound Editing-02. How can you explain this idea? Hmmm....maybe first edit is ment to be before sound and second to combine altogether with sound.
