  3. Atheism itself, maybe not a religion but is a belief just like any other religion though no matter how you try to defend it and that makes this conflict really one belief vs another belief being taught in schools which completely ignores all other beliefs making both of the contenders a bit arrogant. Unless we're talking about evolution not atheism, evolution is a valid scientific theory and is something everyone in the biology department relies upon. Even if evolution didn't happen, today things work in the way as if evolution happened, but this doesn't disprove gods existence though. The only conflict between the two I guess is the history of the world. I feel like this should be taught in both classes according to their views and explained why the background behind it. The students themselves should decide what they believe in. After all, even with the most support you have for the history of the world, you haven't been living for that long, you only acquire modern data based on modern laws, there is always a chance that god/gods intervened with laws or set them up for today to make history seem the way it happened at some point in history. I'm not saying I'm a follower of this, however it could be true and chances/percentages here are not important, what is important is that there is even little doubt. As I say, our earth seems like one of a kind and it seems the earth at one point had 0.0000.......1% chance of becoming what it is today, nonetheless it is 100% what it became today isn't it?
  4. I don't even know. Maybe I should drink a beer that I'm alive on this special date as I do with my friend all the time on every date that is either predicted to be apocalypse or just weird.

  10. Because I had one... I couldn't resolve an issue where someone just took the football from me. What was I supposed to do? Call the cops because he stole my football and forget about the fact that I wanted to play the game that day? Anyway I said if he didn't show me where he put the football I would kick his ass and he said ok, let's fight then. We had a duel where I briefly kicked his ass and forced him to show me where the football was. By the way someone threatened to call the police like you would but I just ignored him. After the fight I played football with my friends. Furthermore I know of a bunch of people who practice fight with each other with no intention to severely harm the other person but to train. They also happen to be in some of the most privileged leagues of proffesional fighting. So if you called the police before understanding what is really happening it would be very foolish from your side.
  11. The author may give clues if it is his wish by the way. So much for being an easy one
  12. lol alyxx, what a review! I firmly believe underworld is just the more mainstream face of the genre (Neo Trance/Techno), there is very good quality tracks under it Alright I rate that track A 12.5/15. 3/3 points for Harmony. 3/3 for dynamics, 2.5/3 for rhythm, 2/3 for timbre. 2/3 for texture. It's great but imo not a classic. Their track Belfast is in the community of audiophiles categorized as such though but I haven't checked it out too much as it is chillout and I just haven't gotten to it yet.. sszUSjhs4lo
  13. Lol, what a retarded circle, clearly the BC mountains nearby are also uninhabitable. Longitude isn't everything. And also some of that cirlce is greenland XD!!!!
  14. No, I am talking Anti-Climatic Music not Amelodic Vapymid, melodic music can be anti-climatic like the third song I posted in the first post. I consider climatic music, music that surrounds and concentrates on a main climax and anti-climatic music, music that tries to get away from the idea that the climax is the most important thing in a track. Last thing is that you are false about Minor and Major, the music theory around melody has been disproven multiple times already and I personally listened to songs that are neither happy or sad. It mostly depends on timbre. The best example is a Hi-Hat. Hit it in D, hit it in C it's not going to give you any emotion but it will sound different. Also, I stated before that initially everyone's taste is the same and develops in a similar path. Only personal, cultural developments, amount of concentration and amount of interest in new genres/tracks and better tracks then available and the availability of music tracks make our taste different. However this thread is dedicated to anti-climatic music and people's current opinion's on it not for musical taste. Tell me if this makes you feel sad or happy? I hope it will give you the result like me to feel like thinking instead of traditional happy or weird, it's my track by the way: http://www.4shared.com/audio/KbomnMLv/The_Argument_Version_2.html I made the minor and major keys collide to make a new type of chord/feeling. Anyway it's unfinished.

  19. Sorry, I understood it wrong as in outside, on the yard of school property. But even outside fights sometimes need to happen, why call the cops? I would rather try to understand what's going on first. Even if it's mortal the cops are not going to be there in time, you would have to do somethign yourself. @Billy I once talked to a guy who got bullied all the time and I tried to help him by explaining why he gets bullied and all he did is swear at me and say he wanted to get bullied when obviously he didn't... Anyway I found out that his parents were partially at fault and gave him medication which he wasn't supposed to take at one time or something (This was hearsay), I really didn't know what to do at that point so I just left it as it is. Calling cops on his parents could have ruined his life and he didn't let me go to him...
  20. I would've rated it 6 too A 11/15. 3/3 points for Harmony. 2/3 for dynamics, 2/3 for rhythm, 2/3 for timbre. 2/3 for texture. 0aNTZwZc2ug

  24. You keep using the word climax and I'm not entirely convinced that you actually know what it means. It's just the most emotional and/or intense part of any phrase. What you seem to be describing is a theme. the repeating melody that makes a piece of music catchy. Like Folk songs. Which are basically just catchy tunes. The piano piece you posted reminded me of a study and now I recalled why, it's just a melody that repeats in a number of variations but doesn't really go anywhere. The movement isn't just one climax. Heck it starts with a bang. Climax to Climax and again.. I simply wanted to emphasize how it builds up from around 1:25 into the video I posted. I actually always recognize this symphony from the theme that the Bass Clarinet is playing. The 4th movement has parts that are very similar to different themes from all three previous movements. There's actually about 3-4+ themes that play in more than just one movement in this symphony. And they're really easy to catch if you've heard the symphony before. So to say it has no memorable "climax" is very incorrect. The end in itself is one of the most memorable endings I've ever heard in a symphony. And it's not anti-climatic, it goes from a slow relatively lolling melancholic clarinet solo to quite possibly the largest bang in any of Shostakovich's symphonies. how is that Anti-climatic? I said, no single melody that you could play that would make people recognize this song because there is no main melody, the theme thrives from switching melody to a completely different melody to another different melody which makes this a much different piece. It is anti climatic because the climax plays a minor role in the whole symphony, I already said before anti-climatic pieces are not always without climax but are the ones trying to get away from the notion of surrounding everything on the climax. Blue: Those are pretty climatic pieces. And it's that guy you had in your avatar haha Also if I just want something that makes my heart feel good then I just listen to our pop music, play it on harmonica or guitar, nothing beats that for me. I mean I usually listen to this when I'm drunk with friends or something... It doesn't mean it's bad or anything, climatic music has it's own style and is good for the heart however mostly I look for music for my ear. OM2ik2OAo8Y
