  1. I think you are moer of a Freethinker then Agnostic.
  2. It's not as simple as that, why would you not consider the more logical theory at the time that crushed stone material is where the ladder ends, noone thought that there could be invisible things smaller than the actual material, but forget it, I'm sure if you lived back then you would teach everyone a lesson or two
  3. Visitors to this thread checking out what cool stuff I have posted, I'm sorry, I haven't posted any cool stuff. I simply need moar participation, please check out top post
  4. Of course, bricks from a house will automatically suggest that there will be a indivisible smallest particle and that everything consists of it, the particle itself being invisible to the eye I don't know is a valid but transitional philosophy. Generally speaking this should only be in used during transition of understanding one of the three beliefs better. If you die an agnostic, you failed to understand life. Controversially speaking, can you live with that?
  5. Here is the most rational philosophical site I've found on the subject of monotheism, polytheism and atheism See for youself which theory you understand the best and what you learn of it. http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/monotheism/
  6. Seriously, what's up with the current church elites. It's like they don't believe in their own theory and just aquire the position to gain power.
  7. Seriously, I'm lost to what you are trying to prove here, philosophical statements generally never explain what something is but more try to propose something rational and logical on impossible subjects to answer at the current time with the tools like the "What is God" problem of course. Philosophical statements should never try to answer something that is already proven by science. Then science takes this to a test a lot later. EDIT: You seriously don't understand aristotle's times, there was no proof of anything at that time and people believed in the earth being flat, seas going forever.... So this wasn't common sense but really a (probably) correct genius rational proposal.
  8. Question everything Learn Something Answer nothing. Also I'm past ignorance...
  9. Quote where you are contradicting my own quote, of course science will ultimately prove something but it is not good to assume something is proven when it's not. And you are right, this has nothing to do with the debate, just adding info. And I'm still pretty sure the smallest possible particle will be indivisible as Aristotle said. So go on with the actual debate. I will post something soon.
  10. @Danilesango Yes, it turns out I skipped it and I just realized it, after reading it I have no further question and announce that speciation is indeed proven and that i now believe it. Stupid of me to forget that dogs are evidence of speciation and all this time I haven't thought about that. It seems like most of evolution is proven and what's not is very likely now. Thank you for the debate. I'm out with the statement: Evolution should be tought in schools as a fact as to how it works but should not be stated as a fact where there is inconclusive evidence in history where species turned into another species. I relearned another thing today. As to God, i will have to conclude on what I have so far. EDIT: That last sentence will take some time to reform so I will be out of the atheism, philosophically redundant debate for a while.
  11. Final off topic post by me to DanielSango: Pantheistic definitions Pantheists assert that God is itself the natural universe. The most famous Western pantheist is Baruch Spinoza. Panentheism holds that the physical universe is part of God, but that God is more than this. While pantheism can be summed up by "God is the world and the world is God", panentheism can be summed up as "The world is in God and God is in the world, but God is more than the world and is not synonymous with the world". However, this might be a result of a misinterpretation of what is meant by world in pantheism, as many pantheists use "universe" rather than "world" and point out the utter vastness of the universe and how much of it (temporal causality, alternate dimensions, superstring theory) remains unknown to humanity. By expressing pantheism in this way and including such elements, rather than limiting it to this particular planet, and specifically limiting it to human experience, the theory is somewhat nearer to the view of panentheists while still maintaining the distinct characteristics of pantheism EDIT: Response to Danielsango: You are not catching up with me, read my previous posts were I answered to your speciation evidence. Speciation is part of evolution.
  12. You misunderstand, if there was a god then the only physical explanation of him would be that. That was the question, how can God exist in the world of physics. EDIT: Axeldeath, that part is over the debate is now whether evolution should be taught in schools as a fact.
  13. 1. A bunch of hogus, or a philosophical study that most people only understand at the age of sixty: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy_of_religion 2. Wait, wait, wait but that's the correct part of evolution. I'm talking about dinosaurs turning into birds and being taught to children apes turning into humans.. And then far-stretched but species turning into other species also isn't a fact. Read my previous posts on the last page.
  14. I love those type of songs except when they aren't about that topic
  15. Now go back on topic please, debate shifiting from disproving evolution as a fact to Physics.
  16. Study physics. An apple cannot be created from nothing but it can exist without ever being created, it defies our usual life events but it is possible theoretically and in fact it's either that or something that broke physics happened and we were created because in physics there is no other explanation than that.
  17. It is possible of course. In philosophy there is different views, some say God is simply everything in the world. Hence, we are part of God. To me, biblical linkage to God explains it better. Some say the two are linked which I don't count as impossible either.
  18. Oh god... why are we talknig about evolution if we can't calculate simple things: The only explanation to the theory would be that Something (God) was always there, there was never nothing. (No God) So something wasn't created, it is eternal. EDIT: Can we go back on topic and debate previous things I posted leaving this debate valuable and not worthless
  19. @Axeldeath Nothing is less than something. It doesn't exist. Also it is a mathematical expression.
  20. I'm not going to answer that, it's an easy explanation. Your mathematical capabilities should allow you to write a perfect formula. Get on with the challenge and come back once you've got it EDIT: By now you probably went calculating. too bad that you actually didn't read my post where I actually mentioned it, the answer is there.
  21. ... Define nothing. , Define Love.
  22. Okay, I understand that. You wouldn't have believed some of the stuff I posted online around the time my girlfriend accidentally OD'd on her pain meds and almost died. (That was a few years ago, long before this. Everything's good now.) So in the spirit of international goodwill, hows about we declare peace? Peace declared, Seems like my dad will be okay, he'll be hopefully getting out of hospital sometime this week. He'll be on 4 different drugs for the rest of his life but hopefully they'll stop him getting anymore heart attacks, he's gonna have to quit smoking though and I'm going to have to stop stressing him out. Cigarettes are the worst shit I've seen in life. Smoking a cigarette is almost like washing your eyes with weak corrosive material constantly except the effect will fall on your throat, lungs and mouth. No shit something bad probably will happen. Sincere sympathies and good luck to your dad.
  23. And just saying, roaming around on the website proposing factual evolution, wtf is this????? http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/homs/flores.html On another hand I want to show this: http://www.scribd.com/doc/3823037/Socrates-and-his-God EDIT: Please don't post a serious response to this and answer my previous points though.
  24. I'll pray for him. ...How did you get such a negative rep???? From opinions?
  25. I'll always laugh at those...... attempts of humour
