Sports aren't arts. Sports are games. Like shuffleboard or tic-tac-toe or Battleship. If a child can do it, it doesn't command my respect. Also, being good at it doesn't deserve tens of millions of dollars. Noone says they deserve it, but it's not their fault. The salaries of players used to be much lower, it's not due to demand of the players they rose but because of the investment in the players by the clubs, players like Pele were happy with theior shitty salary but some clubs started paying more and then it went through the roof. Besides the bigger the salary the bigger the tax here in Europe so who cares, it all goes back to the government and then a big portion goes to the poor people. In my opinion sports are arts. Firstly, we play football because for the sake of playing it. They are watched for the sole reason of the beauty of the capabilities of human mind-body control. Most importantly, even if there was no salary there would be sports. I enjoy watching Sports without gambling on anything, I don't know about you. Also Battleships, Tic Tac Toe are games not sports. The difference being that games are played while sports can also be watched as an art.

Now if there will be someone with evidence for one of these (Which already happened a lot of times with false evidence), I would have to confirm it first, calculate my own percentages and then I would accept or decline it. If there will be true evidence, I will finally be at peace but not necessarily happy. That is how philosophers do it as they are not inclined to any side.

Punching somebody who likes to get punched will be harming him only physically. It all comes down if somebody likes physical pain or not. Which is a mental issue. Everybody at some point took physical harm for mental pleasure. For example, running a 10 KM in the morning. Drinking Alcoholic drinks. Playing a Sport. Also Football players are not apes, they are artists. Just like sports are arts. If you fail to see that, then you have a pretty weak taste in art....

It is only logical then to do as much research as possible to figure out what would happen to oneself after they die. Either there is nothing and therefore nothing to worry or think about, or there are diametric eternities. Personally if the razor's edge is between void and eternity after we die, I would want to be absolutely certain it was one or the other, as opposed to leaving it to some sort of mullthory assumption. Entirely removed from prejudice, guessing or ambivalence. If after we die there is nothing, then there are a great deal of things I should set about doing, since in the end of it all there is no consequence to me personally. If after we die there is eternity, then there is an incredible amount of importance to what is said and done by each moment. Either way, both decisions have an incredible amount of social and moral weight to them- so much so that being on one side or the other is too important to the individual to be said that it could be thought about objectively. Eternity is longer than any career will promise, and longer still how long an army will endure or a civilization will stand. The importance of such a decisio has a 50% chance of being more important than anything we know of to that individual, so to say that an individual can look at such a decision objectively would be a conflict of interest of laughable proportions. Yes, but the advantage of the alternative theories to Christianity is they explain the present, we are sure there is present, we are not sure there is a future. (After death) You could invest in the future, but investment in a present is a sure thing while the future is a wild card (Unless you have proof of it). It's a fifty-fifty percent, tilting towards there probably is something after death, since we don't know what "nothing" is but still it could be anything.

I'm just going to add that I think neither theories are conclusively logical, which means there is a very good chance neither are true. The Big Bang happened when there was no general relativity.................then something happened. I don't think I need to add anything more to point out to what pathetic conclusion we came. Christianity sounds somewhat logical as a story but also that is observed in any other religion, which creates confusions and disbelief in any religion. To disprove the bible I guess one would just have to find other literature before the bible, which in scientists theories, developed the bible.
