I hope that happens with me, because I'm thinking about uninstalling the original, and reinstalling IW... Keep playing it, because once you're in it, it'll have you hooked by the mouth.

System Shock isn't on there because EA. I don't know why the Thief games aren't on there though. Played the heck out of Thief 2, I like Thief 1 but the second mission is one of the worst levels I've ever played in a video game.

This is sounding weird but... I love Deus Ex. I don't know why, just a day ago I hated it, but today I was playing it and something clicked, and now I love it. I'm not sure what happened but whatever it is, I'm okay with it.

my biggest complaint about System Shock 2, those stupid bees. Games should never have bees, that is such a recipe for annoyance.

+rep. CALL OF DUTY just rang loudly in my head. Also, Undying is getting good. If you ignore the loading times it's an immensely solid game with a incredible story.
-
Silent Hill. what a horror masterpiece.
-
Hell yeah I like it. I always played it in a dark room with headphones on. Extreme tension. And loading screens don't bother me. In that game they actually helped you catch a break from al the running backwards and screaming. Also, keep in mind this is a 10 year old game. You kids with your nintendogs and interwebs and pentiumses don't understand what it was like to have to wait a few second for every transition. Now somebody get me my tea and cookies! But i love old games. I play System Shock 2 religiously and it still scares the pants off of me. I play it so much I'm not sure I own pants anymore! I'm gonna keep playing it and see what happens because this is a really good story.

The story was great because it left a series of intrigue.

The third game was pretty bad. It was made by Ion Storm after they took too many stupid pills and made Invisible war. Thief and Thief 2 are the best games in the series and my favorite series ever as a whole. Everything about them is just so immersive and flows well. The game has sprawling levels that reward you for getting curious.

well, I'm intrigued enough with the story to dread on with LOADING LOADING LOADING and Ronald McDonald's Kreepy Klub, so if you like games centered on story (Planescape Torment and Grim Fandango) you should like Undying.
-
the game is intriguing, if you're able to handle LOADING EVERY FUCKING 5 SECONDS.

Got a copy, so I documented my experience with the game. "Walking down a hall." "Some ghost goes ABOOGABOOGABOOG" >Uh-huh. "See some ghost who looks like Ronald McDonald flying in the air." >Hmm-hmm "He flies into a doorway." >okay I bet- LOADING. "In a long hallway." "see a mirror." "Ronald McDonald is being all OOGA BOOGA I'M SCARY in the mirror." "Go into a do- LOADING LOADING LOADING "Run into some enemies." "I'll try out this magic shit." >Magic just blows them back and does nothing. "I'll shoot them then." >Pistol has to be dead on to hit a shot and the little lizards run like demon leopards. "OH PATRICK HELP ME!" "Cool paranormal story going on, let down by terrible animations." "Get a new power." >Sweet! >Try it on enemy. >IT DOES THE EXACT SAME THING AS THE LAST ONE. >Apprantley I have a journal but the game doesn't tell me how to open it so I guess I'll never know what's in it. >Back to shootan. "Need to go find Groundskeeper Willie." "someone dies. >Quit.

Played the demo, now all i want to do is play it.

I had Game Informer for a while, than they began giving good reviews to crap like Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect and then I realized all hope was lost.

Marjora's Mask is one of my favorite games of all time. Oracle of Ages is amazing as well, other than that LoZ isn't my thing.

Hey guys, I've been playing Thief and Thief 2 and HOLY MOLY THESE ARE AMAZING GAMES. I've been searching everywhere for the perfect stealth game, and I think I've found it. The art style is fantastic, the level design is amazing, the stealth actually works, you're able to defend yourself when you get caught (*cough* Metal Gear Solid) and the guards are so personified that you don't ever want to kill them. THIEF DISCUSSION THREAD ALL UP IN HERE.

I really want to play undying, how is it? i've only played a demo and was very impressed but can't seem to find the real deal.

Yeah he's a pretty bad troll.

I know a game is scary when I'm too scared to play it, which is the case with Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, every single game Frictional has made, and Doom 3 on the hardest difficulty. I think the greatest credit you can give to a horror game is being to afraid to play it, but playing it to see what the game does next.

Killer7 Killer7 Killer7 I am in deep love with this game.
-
But Portal 2 was an unnecessary sequel to a game I didn't really like aside from its delicious sense of humor. Also, I really recommend picking up the Quake Collection so you can play the best shootan series ever, Morrowind, Hitman Blood Money is also looking mighty fine, Anything by Frictional Games, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is still really good. A game that isn't on steam you should still try out, especially if you love storylines, is Planescape: Torment. Seriously, even if you don't like RPGs, this game is still worth playing for its amazing story.

Naming your space shuttle after a sunken city is a formula for success.

Please do elaborate Awful game Hl1 had real weapons Ex: Glock, Revolver, MP5, Spas 12, Grenade, Satchel charge, Hl2 did not HL1 has a better storyline HL2 does not Okay, Username, your points are awful. But I'll give you credit, Half Life 1 was better. Half Life 2 wasn't bad, just incredibly disappointing. Half Life 1 was colorful and imaginative game that defied all the laws of First Person shooters before it, boasting a fantastically told story and delightfully campy scientists. Half Life 2 is a greyish brown game with monotonous grey corridors, monotonous grey enemies, and a gravity gun that is really only used to show off their physics engine and to do see-saw puzzles. Although I like Half Life 2 used Half Life 1 as a jumping point, Half life 2 removed all the character from Half Life 1 and made it "Tedious Grey Shooter" and removed all the kickass weaponry from Half Life 1, like the Gauss Gun, Gluon Gun, and Hive Hand just to show off their Gravity Gun some more I guess. I also found the game pathetically easy, as Half Life 1 kicked my ass around town and back while I was able to breeze through Half Life 2, except for some magnificent final levels with colossal strider battles. The story itself is bland, boring, doesn't tell the player anything, and I generally wasn't very interested in it. The Combine aren't as fun to fight as the Marines either so that kinda chipped away at the experience for me. But I did love the characters and set pieces. Most of my complaints are on the gameplay side and art design side, but on level design side this is still Valve's brand of fantastic level design, amazing set pieces, loveable characters, and atmospheric music. It's not terrible, just not as good as Half Life 1.
