This. I'm an avid player of horror games and nothing has quite done it for me like Penumbra and Amnesia. See, in Dead Space, you have the comfort of a gun which I find removes a lot of the fright factor. Probably because it gives you the option to deal with your fears on the spot. And it's all "BOO" horror style. Now, I'm not saying I hate DS. I quite love it. But in terms of scariness, well, it's all startle to me. nothing is actually constant scare. And yeah my upgrade has always been suit, plasma cutter and then whatever else I may be using(usually line gun) That gives me an idea, a game where to kill the enemy the player has to inflict harm unto themselves. I'm going to write this down...

I feel that people take the matters of what should and should not be censored in the completely wrong ways. Proving their upmost maturity by trying to get anything sexual taken out of a game that shouldn't even be sold to minors in the first place. I mean, I wouldn't try to ban a game like say, Infamous for example, "Ban this filth! This will teach children the wrong things! THEY'LL TRY TO SHOOT LIGHTNING OUT OF THEIR HANDS!!!" And I remember there was a game to take place in Iraq that was cancelled because some cunts somewhere didn't like it. It's perfectly okay to curbstomp every Nazi in the world but the minute we take it out of Germany we're taking it too far. And religious groups who are high and mighty on themselves will try to get a game removed if it represents them badly (See, Resisistance Fall of man.) The point I'm trying to make is that censorship makes sense but we just can't seem to grasp it.

That was a royal pain in the ass. Fortunately, I'm in hydroponics now. Hydroponics...hehe, reminds me of my least favorite level in System Shock 2. I hate midwives, I really do hate them.

Everyone knows everything about Half Life, you can't be on the internet for so long and not know. It just isn't possible.

I have mutliple saves just to see how my choices interact the dialgoue. Right now I'm in Hong Kong and so far it is my favorite level.

The game really just isn't that scary, and the PC version has a hoist of problems. In the PC version the female partner's (who I call "Bitchface") hair flew everywhere everytime she was on screen, that was pretty scary I guess.

Old video games, they're better than new ones. System Shock 2, Unreal, Deus Ex, Thief The Dark Project, Thief 2 The Metal Age, Half Life, Opposing Force, Planescape Torment, and arguably Morrowind. I run a GeForce 6150 SE and it runs like a pro on it.

When you said you hated it a little while ago Yup. The game suddenly became amazing to me, I can't describe it, I just finally got it I guess. I'm not to sure myself.

I do love Yahtzee's reviews, but I felt that about BioShock when I first played it. It's still good mind you.

Never said it couldn't, I don't dislike it because I've never played it. However PC fanboys are always raging about DX:IW. Isn;t that supposed to be the worst of the three? it IS the worst of the three! Like IW it was more or less dumbed down for Xbox and is more linear than the other games. But it isn't a bad game, it just doesn't stand up well next to its more competent brothers.
