My most recent purchase was Unreal, Unreal Tournament, and Unreal Tournament 2004 in the boxes. the first thing I did was rub my face against Unreal's box.

That's just developers taking in line of CAll of Duty's "REALISM SO COOL GRAPHICS AND CINEMA." And being casual for everyone to play. They make books for people who like books. They make movies for people who like movies. WHY DO THEY TRY TO MAKE GAMES FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT THE PEOPLE WHO DO LIKE GAMES?!

Auto Aim can really benefit a console fps, but smooth controls can make up for lack of it. Quake 2 on the N64 and PS1 had really smooth and precise controls and are really, really, really good ports.

Shooting the double barrel shotgun in Doom 2 is one of the most satisfying things in a video game for me.

Analog controls are pretty uncomfortable, but good Console FPS games like Metroid Prime, Red Faction, or Halo will have lock on or auto aim.

The single player and multiplayer for B2 are both really good though.

If you haven't played Quake 1 than I'm not sure what you're trying to do. you should get it even if your computer is THAT crappy.

I love PC games but I love console games too. Gamecube, SNES, Dreamcast, and PS2 are my favorite home consoles.
