  1. Took it in Wipeout HD's pause menu photo tools then copied the file to PC.
  2. FM is Ross' main successful series, probably bringing in the most of his fanbase. I have no doubt in my mind that once he finishes FM, he will lose out on a sizable number of viewers, unless he starts working on another fast-release series. He can't maintain his popularity with huge Civil Protection sized projects alone. And what better than continuing FM with Half Life 2?
  3. It's still miles better than a few forum tags.
  4. I think donators should get more than a few colorful forum tags. Not that I'm complaining, but if you're going to actually want to give a gift for these people, forum tags would be the weakest option you have. Not to mention there aren't that many people who even post on these forums, or let alone care about what their tag says. You should start to procure more outtakes, extras, behind the scenes and such while making your videos, and organize them into a section that's only available to donators. You wouldn't even have to update this section often, or anything. About 2 or so entries in a year would do just fine. And don't worry about looking like an ass who wants to make money from "selling" these extras. This is just a morality trend everyone likes to yap about, yet never actually enforce. I guarantee you nobody would stop watching your vids for example. Heck, the serious ones already left the moment you "sold out" to Machinima, anyway.
  5. I really don't mind DLC's unless they make they game almost unplayable for those who don't purchase them. Take Killzone 2 for example. Overall about 6 DLC maps, and every server with those maps in their rotations are unavailable for a vanilla player, making matchmaking a possible difficulty for them. Bad Company 2 suffers a bit from this as well, with the VIP maps, but on the flipside, without DLC there would have never been a Vietnam add-on, which is great fun in hardcore mode.
  6. FFX-2 It's like Heavy Rain, in replayability, except way longer. It had the replay value of 3 years for me. More games need to explore the possibilities of a New Game + feature, and create content that requires several, 5 or more, playthroughs without losing all character progress and unlocks from starting a new game. Ratchet/Jak games were on the right track, except they didn't add much variety for subsequent playthroughs. Most highly acclaimed games are just simply great for one playthrough, but then you wouldn't quite play them again for months, unless you haven't got many other games available for you. I don't think these games are "best of" material, no matter how great and fun they might have been.
  7. In one of the blog posts, Ross mentions that Craig was speaking some Hungarian phrases he knew at the end of The Tunnel. I'm Hungarian and I can't make out a single word he's saying. I don't know if he really was trying to, but if he was, then I can assure you, he needs a ton of practice. Anyway, great videos Ross, keep up the good work. *Also, shameless plug demanding that you expand Freeman's Mind to Episode 2, for no good reason*
