  1. Well, there are too many games to choose from, but there are some exceptions... 1) Baldur's Gate 2 2) Fallout 2 3) Knights of the Old Republic 1&2 (I cannot keep them apart) 4) Half Life series 5) Rome Total War... or World of Warcraft (but just because of the hundreds of hours I spent playing it. Yeah yeah, I got no life, so what.) But really, there are a lot of exceptional games. Most of the are the old ones. There are a handful of games that are any good and are younger than ten years. Quality games are dying out.
  2. Heart of Darness played and loved, though it totally scared and disturbed my innocent childhood. Another World I have only heard about, but it was praised. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
  3. One of the best game I have ever played in my life. The storyline, characters and level design were purrrrfect. And that was the best adaptaton of Cheshire cat.
  4. Never fear, my friends. Good story telling Single Player will NOT die out.
  5. Thank you, Ross. Now it's up to the boys of Machinima to decide their priorities.
  6. I have thought about this scene aswell, but Gordon Freeman portrayed by Ross Scott is a man I can see going through a "battle he has no chance of winning". But hell, no matter what, it will still be awesome. Ross won't make it crappy.
  7. I have seen several of the minds and I like the couple of them, but the reason why the Freeman's Mind stands out like a shiny gold piece (was there really a doubt?), is that it is so believable. I don't see a person playing a computer game, talking to himself; I see a real character (a bit insane maybe, but real nevertheless) trying to deal with this really bad day in his own way. For me, Ross Scott and Gordon Freeman merged into this one Character, and I cannot think of one without thinking about another. I gets a but creepy sometimes. And the voiceacting (a really important issue for me) of Freeman's mind? Just perfect. Shephard's Mind... I like a lot. Though some jokes are way too corny even for me, and the voiceacting is a bit of sometimes, I just find this character very enjoyable and the playthrough creative and original in many ways. Still, the overacting is sometimes a bit too much, but it is quite rare. I kinda liked Barney's Mind, though the first few episodes were a pain to watch and some of the jokes made me bang my head against the wall. Voiceacting wasn't really standing out, but it was quite enjoyable. Felix's Mind I loved when I first saw it... and now it's just mediocre for me. Well, when I look at it now, sometimes it is very creative, but a lot of comments and jokes just throw it into the dumpster. I mean... quotes from videogame and i Mind series? Nothing against the taste of others, and that justs kills it for me. And Chell's Mind I just plain hate. I hate the character, I hate her voice and every joke that there is. God, she's so obnoxious. But yeah, looks like I stick with the crowd. The Shephard's Mind is the second for me.
  8. No matter how long we wait, it's always worth it.
  9. Darth Traya from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Jon Irenicus from Baldur's Gate II. By Gods, they were evil, sinister and stylish like all hell. And the voice acting was a perfection at itself.
