  1. Journey on PS3. Didn't know what to expect. During the the 2 - 3 hours of gameplay it completely shattered my all time top game list, I have no idea which belongs where now. I have checked the internet, so I know I'll repeat what a gazillion of people said already, but still... every gamer owes to himself/herself to play this game. In my opinion, it takes the gaming industry on a whole new level. On a level this medium can be taken seriously by the rest of the world.
  2. I'm the same type of person. Loot, loot, loot. Even when in the end of the game, having near infinite ammount of currency and epic weapons, armour, magic (you name it), I still pick up everything (and yes, a house with a chest is a MUST). I think it's a kind of OCD behaviour. Also, when in dungeons, I have to explore all the side-roads before going the "main-quest" way. And it pains me, when I don't know which way leads where and I have to return back all the time. Also, by the order of the Ordo Xenos and the holy will of the God Emperor, I submit you to death, filthy xenos Tau scum! *BLAM* *BLAM* (Sorry about that, my triger finger gets twitchy)
  3. And what's the proper definion of a zombie?
  4. Bully: Scholarship Edition. It's... I have no idea how to describe it. Entertaining as hell though...
  5. Aww yea... Red Alert was my first strategy ever... I lost so many years in that conflict.
  6. Ross and Doug are probably my most favourite internet celebrities... so this is great news. Can't wait to see you there!
  7. Empire: Total War - I've been Redcoating over America, murdering natives and Spanish.
  8. Every game could be a lot better. There isn't a single game I wouldn't think "This could be done better... and this could be improved..." while playing it. And I'm not talking about the graphics or engine. To stay on topic, I bought Solar 2 on Steam.
  9. Fallout 2 is THE GAME for me. But I never expected Fallout 3 to be nowhere near it. I mean... Fallout 2 (and Fallout 1, but I prefer the second game) is almost a genre of it's own, and I think it is impossible to recreate in the 3D first person shooter type of game. Even using the same mechanics but slapping 3D advanced graphics would hurt it. Fallout 3 and especially Fallout:NV gave me exactly what I wanted. A FPS RPG in Fallout lore game, and that is really good in itself. But you can't recreate the feel the original Fallout games gave you. You can't expect that.
  10. One word: Overrated. You know that there are people who really do enjoy the game, right?
  11. You can never please everyone.
  12. I would like to see a movie based on The Binding of Isaac. In IMAX. 3D.
  13. That's a mighty fine game. But I still gotta finish it
  14. I'm a fresh owner of a PS3 and I have a few games on it, which I play from time to time... But I'm a PC user since I was three. PC all the way.
  15. Digital - preferably on Steam. I Never had a problem with it, and it's bloody comfortable. Sometimes it drains my money account at an unpleasant pace, especially when Steam Sale comes to town, but that is to be expected.
  16. Voted for The Walking Dead. It had a grand story, that didn't f*ck around, great characters and I genuinely cared about what will happen to them. There was no other game in 2012 I was invested more into than this one.
  17. I haven't played that many games of 2012 and some of them I don't really want to include in the top list... but to name a few: 1. The Walking Dead I'm a story whore and this game gave me exactly what I wanted. Storyline, characters and atmosphere were all top notch. Rarely I felt so engaged in a game. 2. Black Mesa Source It may be "just a mod" but to hell with that. One of the best shooters I have played in long years. Half Life ages like wine. 3. Mass Effect 3 Even though the ending almost killed the entire franchise for me (it was that bad. Not the worst ending I have seen, but it had the worst comparision between the ending and the rest of the game), it was an awesome trip. Playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 just before the release of Mass Effect 3... the non-stop marathon was an emotional kickass party I will probably not forget for a long time. 4. Alan Wake. This game was just so much fun. Storyline was a little bit too much strange, but it had great atmosphere, enjoyable combat a great characters. Also, the battle at the Rock stage of the viking farmers won the game for me. I am also a fan of Stephen King... and this felt like being in one of his books. 5. Faster than Light I always wanted to say "Shields are at maximum", "Direct power to the engines" and "Target their laser battery!" This game fulfilled my dream of being a spaceship captain. 6. Diablo III Some people love it. Some people hate it. A lot of people like to argue about it on the internet. I just enjoy it. I wanted nothing more than to walk around with my character, murder stuff and collect a lot of sweet loot. And that's exactly what I got. 7. Assassin's Creed 3 Connor was boring and forgetable, ending was *rolls eyes* and the assassin stealth elements were mostly replaced by one man army style. But I still had great time playing it. It's still Assassin's Creed, franchise I became fond of, the setting is in my favourite colonial period, which I see rarely in action games and the naval combat was just a blast. Overall, it wasn't a bad year. But I expect this one to be even better.
  18. The Binding of Isaac The game is seriously wtf...
  19. Rome II: Total War Probably my most anticipated game ever.
  20. Yeah... the THQ bundle. I got most of the games already, but what the hell...
  21. Skyrim.. for three days... pretty much nonstop. Human body shouldn't need to sleep... or eat.
  22. Now I want to own a farm just so I could chop wood with you. Anyhow, kill the scammer, purge the unclean. And please, don't overwork yourself. Your loyal fans are patient.
  23. UNBELIEVERS. MUST. DIIIIIEEEEEEE! I mean... Warhammer 40k: Soulstorm.
  24. By the time I get home from work, Assassin's Creed should be downloaded. Some people hate it, some praise it... I'm just really curious.
  25. I bash CoD too, but only because I don't enjoy the game. The only CoDs I kinda like are the first and second one. And even CoD 2 was too "consolie" for me. I especially hate the regenerating health and woefully linear corridors. But I love the WW2 theme, so there...
