Indeed, because it's actually going to be parodying shit instead of the "Duke played straight in a silly world that isn't really silly we just say that so we can make a bunch of innuendos" we got. There's nothing wrong with that per se, but there was no real sense of parody other than "LOOK AT THIS! THIS IS A MODERN GAME REFERENCE! WE ARE NOT ACTUALLY GOING TO PARODY IT BUT WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A CRACK AT THE SERIES ANYWAY! LAUGH YOU SHEEP!".

I am a brony. I am a Duke Nukem fanboy. WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?! Edit: BLIGHTMARE! YOUR AVATAR! HHNNNNNNGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
-
1. My old one broke. 2. The whole "Duke Nukem" thing was only because of my hype, and since the game is out now... 3. I love Manly Guys Doing Manly Things. 4. A guy in my TF2 clan did it for me, so of course I'm going to use it. 5. LOOK AT THAT MAN-FACE AND BECOME 20% MANLIER YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

My TF2 turned them off by itself for some reason. No matter what I do, I can't see any other sprays besides mine. I'm probably not missing much, but it makes me feel like I have less control over my computer than I think I do . http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fanfic/PastSins This fanfic (As of now incomplete) made me sad, but this could pass off as a decent movie for the series. Edit: Also, Rarity is the best pony. Shut up if you are going to say otherwise, because you are WRONG. Edit to the Edit: My theory as to why it's become so popular? Because it makes you feel so damn good when you watch it for the first time. You get all bubbly and happy, watching all the pretty ponies while are your troubles become irrelevant. It helps us think that this world isn't as fucked as we think it is. Then after your first run through, you realize "Hey, this is good as an actual show, too". Now you wait patiently for December and Season 2 to roll by to re-live that first magical moment.

In multiplayer games, I absolutely hate when the game emphasizes kills over objectives. I don't give a shit if it was designed that way, it's just boring.

Sounds oddly in-character for your avatar. Anyway, one of my cats is currently sleeping on my mousepad. Kind of hard to use the computer with that being the case.

I can't get over how adorable your avatar is. Also:

Did you know that there's a rumored 4th DLC for DNF that will have a theme of "Poo and all the crazy shit we can do with it"? /Sarcasm I hope Speaking of DLC. http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=127803 http://www.gearboxity.com/images/web/townscreenshot1_720.jpg http://www.gearboxity.com/images/web/twofortscreenshot1_720.jpg

I enjoyed it for what it is, as well. It is a good game, but it was held back by the weapon limit full stop. But now the 4 weapon inventory will let me actually enjoy the game, without me having to justify it to others and myself. It will stop Duke from being a Halo clone and will let me Freeze a Pig, plant a trip mine on him, shrink him, and then blow him up with an RPG. In that order. It will make DNF the game we've been waiting for.

TF2. Testing some new custom maps on a server I go to.

I get the distinct feeling that you are insulting me somehow.
-
Really, the 2-weapon limit was my only real gripe with the gameplay. It didn't make the game feel like Duke Nukem. It made it feel like Halo with a Duke aesthetic. But this will clear all gripes I have with DNF from a gameplay perspective. Duke himself, though, is going to need more than some extra pockets for me to like him.

This. By far the best music from any of the Meet the Team videos.

Oh. My. God. Get this man an HEV suit, a crowbar, and some Oxycodone.

Team Fortress 2. The lasers ARE too strong, but they fit style-wise. Kind of.

Games that got much better playing them?

Also, Just Cause 2. It really starts to get good around when you can obtain Heat Level 3. That's when they send attack helicopters with chainguns after you. -

You got ripped off. It's only worth $0.00. Not really. It was a community-submitted hat. That meant that someone, somewhere took time out of their life to create it. I also believe that buying community stuff gives the creators a percentage of whatever the item costed. So buying it is a way of telling them thank you and showing you appreciate hard work. But yeah, 90% of the hats are overpriced. -

I only bought 1 hat. It was during the Summer Sale, when it was $1.99. -

Won't let me do that. Still says that the minimum amount you can put into the wallet is $2.50. Just tried it my way, and apparently you can only add the funds you need for purchases over $5. I'm a big spender, so I never knew this. -

Actually it's a $2.50 minimum amount now... (item prices are lower, but that's the minimum to put into the account) Nope. You can put in an item that costs 50 cents and take the option to add 50 cents to your Steam wallet to pay for it. -

Team Fortress 2. Not just because of all the different weapons, hats, class abilities, vintage hats, gamemodes, and promotional hats you have to keep track of. You have to learn subtler things, such as telling a good server from a bad server, fair trades versus bullshit trades, and how to make YOUR whining about weapons seem more legit than the next guy's. You also need to learn to get involved in the community and the whole update speculation business. Currently we're shitting our pants over the "Grockets" added into 3 maps in an update yesterday. From what we can tell, this seems to be a hint towards the Meet the Pyro short, similar to how exploding Doves appeared around random maps out of the Scout class's chest to tease Meet the Medic last month. So really, you need to learn the game, the game within the game, and the community game. And it is fucking worth it in my experience. Especially since it's all for the low low price of nothing or a minimum of 50 cents in the Mann Co Store if you want a premium account. -
Old games to play with a shitty video card (GeForce 7200GS)
Bravetriforcer replied to Luis's topic in Gaming in general
A shitty card from 6 years ago that was bad back then? Reminds me of my old comp. As for games, I have no idea, as I only got into PC gaming recently and have very little idea in terms of benchmarks. -
Sorry, but it has been scientifically proven that not owning Portal 2 means you officially suck and are not allowed onto the chocolate helicopter. Also, DNF is 50% off. Seriously, guys. Even if you believe every word the critics say, this game is worth $25 no matter how you slice it.
