THE GREATER GOOD. Our admin is one of them!

It reminds me of Ace Combat 5. That game has many references to other languages, and refers often to poetry and existentialism regarding war and peace. While often traveling faster than 500mph. However it contains nothing of the sort of Robots, apart from enemy UCAV fighters.

In order to expand upon your abilities as an animator, I would reccomend looking up tutorials on how to do a walk cycle.

Te Deum, orchestrated by Arvo Part, conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste and performed by the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. The lyrics are latin: Te Deum laudamus: te Dominum confitemur. Te gloriosus Apostolorum chorus; Te Prophetarum laudabilis numerus; Te Martyrum candidatus laudat exercitus. Te per orbem terrarum sancta confitetur Ecclesia: Patrem immensae maiestatis, Venerandum tuum verum et unicum Filium, Sanctum quoque Paraclitum Spiritum. Tu rex gloriae, Christe, Tu Patris sempiternus es Filius. Tu ad liberandum suscepturus hominem non horruisti virginis uterum. Tu devicto mortis aculeo aperuisti credentibus regna caelorum. Tu ad dexteram Dei sedes, in gloria Patris. Iudex crederis esse venturus. Te ergo quaesumus, tuis famulis subveni, quos pretioso sanguine redemisti! Aeterna fac cum Sanctis tuis in gloria numerari! Salvum fac populum tuum, Domine, et benedic hereditati tuae! Et rege eos, et extolle illos usque in aeternum! Per singulos dies benedicimus te Et laudamus nomen tuum in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi. Dignare, Domine, die isto sine peccato nos custodire! Miserere nostri, Domine, miserere nostri! Fiat misericordia tua, Domine, super nos, quemadmodum speravimus in te! In te, Domine, speravi: non confundar in aeternum. Amen. Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus. I can't understand all of the lyrics, but I do know that the title Te Deum means "You, God" and Sanctus means Holy. Many of the nouns are largely unmodified from the Hebrew and Greek meanings from which they originate, such as Prophetarum, Martyrum, Christe and Cherubim. Arvo Part is a Composer who comes from (and lives in) Estonia. Much of his repertoire, written for Catholic and Protestant churches for Choir and Orchestra, was written while the Iron Curtain segregated him from the purpose for which he wrote the music, much of it in secret. Te Deum is one such piece, written in 1983. Part is attributed with the foundation of musical Minimalist theory and one of few living Holy music composers.

Stand past the yellow line at the Subway station. Fun fact: 120 volts can do serious damage to a human being, assuming the current has more than 0.1 amps. We've all been here. Far too often...

I've been recording most of my dreams in the back of my journal in the hopes that soon I will be capable of lucid dreaming. Such endeavors probably prove rewarding.

In "The Tunnel" how did he get the CP's to hold objects.
Blue replied to James's topic in Technical Source Engine Stuff
Make the flashlight a SWEP with custom worldmodel animation for him holding it like that instead of using worldmodel animations akin to the pistol, grenade, shotgun, crowbar, physgun or rifles. Direct NPC to use flashlight SWEP. Easy as making a SWEP. Which is to say, not easy. -

Unfortunately I always have that problem... It's called paranoia... Pretty cool actually when you figure out that it actually also works as a 6th sense... (or 7th/8th/9th if you have more than 5 senses like I do) Most people have nearly twenty, but they're far more mundane than you'd think. Balance, pressure, hunger, physical mechanical stress, physical maintenance stress, emotional stress, acceleration/decelleration, etc. -
I wouldn't worry about it, since it's not in our power to modify. Take the good times as they come.

The weapon animations are done by the same guy that made Dance Fortress, the Dance animation of Team Fortress 2 characters.

With the cross-coordination of different areas, I have this far-flung idea that it could be done to make the teleportation sequence in Kleiner's Lab actually operate properly so that you teleport from d1_trainstation_05 to d1_lab_01. However it would require very careful sequence surgery in the Teleporter room on both levels as well as intense import work.

For Those who Have Created Machinima Before
Blue replied to Zetos Lapier's topic in Machinima in general
In my tiddering with SourceSDK I realized a few things: 1, that while a fascinating discipline and just as intriguing as anything I would ever wish to pursue, Level Design and Theory are far more demanding than my current time and interests permit. 2, Choreography of elements in SourceSDK for the purpose of simply watching as opposed to making it playable, doubly so. Personally I have a great deal of interest in making use of the Source Engine to make an entertainment thing, but it most certainly will not be a machinima. -
Kor from Jak II, aka the Metal head Leader, tied alongside Dr. Nefarious from Ratchet & Clank.

Choreography of a war sequence would be incredibly difficult to do if you plan on animating it. Implementing clever camera tricks into just a staged AI battle in Garry's Mod with Source FilmMaker would feel clunky and artificial. If you're thinking something along the lines of the Beach scene from Saving Private Ryan or Urban warfare scene from but in Half Life 2!, only a Valve-made creation would be able to even approach that level of detail. Much easier than that would be the use of Half Life 2 and Episodes assets and manually animate in Softimage XSI or Maya. If it was done in the past-time of one person, it would take longer than The Tunnel to make. If it was more than one person, it probably would cost money.

Man, that was a disturbing leap back to 2009. Fun times. -
When Man exceeds God is when the day Man creates something from nothing. Viz. Take the substance of the abyss and bring something into being from it. Eg deliberately Violate the Laws of Conservation of Mass and Energy. I am a Christian and would postulate that we cannot hope to come anywhere near the realm of Omniscience, even if we were as cool as Sovereign from Mass Effect. You, reading this right now, your body has a hard time surviving beyond 40 G-forces for longer than 20 milliseconds and can only last without constant exposure to 14PSI for about 50 seconds. It needs a highly specialized combination of gasses in order to operate, and without replenishment of such will cause it to expire in less than three minutes. It can only last four days without fresh water and fifty without food. Even thought that's the short list, its quite a number of constraints to overcome in order to pass beyond the realm of Mortal, let alone Omniscience. Moreover, that's only the Physical, let alone the Emotional or Logical constraints of our frail fleshbags. We have a hard time understanding what are the fundaments of consciousness, the precepts of relationships, the realms beyond the fourth dimension, the particle operands below the quark. So many things we don't even know how they work like Light, Gravity, Kidneys, Magnets So many things that are unknown like what makes the Hexagonal storm on the top of Saturn, why Bacteria thrive in acidic basins on the bottom of the Ocean, what will War look like in 100 years or how will the economy be doing in 7 hours. To say that we are anywhere near the level of God is not only to presume that we understand and comprehend these ideas in entirety in not only all realizable methods, conventions and dimensions, but also the rudiments of their construction and why.

TSFH makes Production music specifically to be sold to studios and companies for use in Trailers so that soundtracks don't have to be recomposed or spoiled. Star Trek, Tron: Legacy, Indiana Jones 4 and Inception all had their trailers music use TSFH music.

I thought I saw some kind of spite type appearance in the flash, not just lighting. Like some random allocation of bright static.
