does Binding Keys to cheats disrupt achievements?
Blue replied to Dumbrarere's topic in Valve Games / Valve Stuff
Non-cheat commands. For example, sk_strider_num_missiles_1 # sets how many RPGs it takes to bring down a strider on easy difficulty. Set it to 1 and it makes Neighbourhood Watch much easier. -

Maya 2011 Deustche BundesBahn Baureihe 23, last steam engine built and operated by the German National Railroad in 1950. 10 Survivors exist, several of them still operational. Notably No. 23-023, 23-042 and 23-104. You have no idea how much I wish I could make an NPC out of a Vehicle in Source Engine. To be a model, I'll be having to crush down the detail be a factor of 5- MDLs have a ceiling of 20,000 tris. It's the perspective that's skewing how big the cab is. Then again, fiction usually gives us a poor impression of how large most steam engines are. Gorgeous thing, isn't she? -

Or rather, an expression problem. I'm making a piston for a steam engine, and I need a sine function in order to govern how the piston moves via the rotation of a wheel, but I entirely forget how to do this sort of math, I haven't done it in three years. DrivePiston Translate needs to move between 0.489 and -0.489 DriveWheel Rotation inputs a value in radial degrees. I recall y=a*sin(mx+c) but don't remember anything about how that actually works or what the variables are in that equation apart from y and x.

Fire is caused by fire particles coming in contact with air. If you blow on a fire, it disperses the particles away from the air with your breath, thus extringuishing it. Therefore if fire particles are continuously poured onto a pre-existing fire, heat will be generated as long as the particles are provided, generating infinite heat and therefore energy.

I like "I saw a deer today".

It's been a very long time since I encountered a troll. I don't know if its due to the diligent efforts of Moderation staff of the forums I frequent, or the fact that I make a point of avoiding the reams of realms of the tubes that they are so commonly found in.

Animating is hard. I know first hand. Unless it would be relevant to the story, it should not be there. That's a horribly blunt fact. :V However you could animate it yourself, if you have Team Fortress 2 and the patience to figure yourself out how to use Maya, which can be obtained for free if you're a student. http://students.autodesk.com/ Team Fortress 2 includes complete animation rigs, if you install the game and download SourceSDK. They'll be located in Program Files\Steam\steamapps\"Username"\sourcesdk_content\tf\modelsrc\player

He might also just increase sk_plr_num_shotgun_pellets "#", which does not alter the damage, but alters the number of bullets fired per shot within firing cone.

Blast Pit is significantly larger. I didn't really see any resemblance when I played it. Cylindrical thing in the middle of a giant-ass room with glowing green far below it, suspended by pipes and cables.

Whichever one has more memes in it.

Custer's Revenge. Thankfully I've never played it.

Choice is because we have a consciousness different from animals. My definition for why this consciousness is different is because of purpose of life and existence as Stipulated by Christ.

If the HEV suit existed in real life, it's first practical employment would probably be both as a Space suit and personal armor for Soldiers. This was one of the windows of Shuttle Challenger while it was deploying a satelite. The fleck was probably no bigger than your fingernail and about as durable. The twist is that it hit at about 15,000km/h. Such a threat still exists for Astronauts when outside the space shuttle, simply trusting in the low probability that micrometeorites would hit them.

Personally, looking through some of the submissions on the voting thing on the official blog, I could have made a much better replay in many of the categories, or at least more presentable. However, as I didn't give enough cares about the whole thing and didn't make any videos, I wonder if it sort of invalidates that opinion. I'll be glad when it's over and they release the Meet the Medic. Your thoughts? Your delights? Your frustrations?

50% of making models for Source Engine 100% of internet arguments

Because they aren't really understood very well. Which is among the dumber reasons why people prefer inefficient machines to do work.

I'm from Vancouver. The only thing worth commenting on right now is the fact that our hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks, are the closest to winning the NHL championship (The Stanley Cup) since 1989, currently in the final four teams (against the San Jose Sharks, Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning). If we win the Cup this year, it will be the first time the Canucks have won it. My current "Location" references the Canuck's Lead-Center Ryan Kesler, who is leading the team in number of goals scored this season. If it wasn't obvious, Vancouver is in Canada.

What is causing the Pioneer Anomaly? What will happen to the current system of particle observation if there are observable components of matter or anti-matter smaller than the angstrom? Why aren't bladeless turbines implemented more often? What is the cause of consciousness?

For me this time of year is one of cleaning, making sure I've thrown away elements of uselessness of yesteryear and cleaned off the things of practicality- as well as a thorough vacuuming and scrubbing of my computer, defragging everything and making sure all the viruses and such are scanned and destroyed. Do you do spring cleaning? What sorts of things do you think need cleaning around your house (or computer)?

The Dark Knight I'm a big fan of John Williams, Steven Spielberg, Alan Menken, John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Hayao Miyazaki, and in general movies with happy endings. Also there's no shame in liking Tom Hanks as an actor, so I can also say honorable mention goes to Saving Private Ryan and The Terminal.

I can make any quote from a movie into an All-Blue entry. It's a matter of internal dispute whether or not this is a good thing. You only think I guessed wrong. That's what's so funny. I switched glasses when your back was turned. Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! HA HA HA HA!! HAHAHAHAHA! HA*dead*
