Manliness is not measured with how much blood you have on your hands, but the mind that governs the hands which may or may not have blood on them.

Okay this challenge is nullified. Is anyone game for the Debate?

No, no no, I said the Nanaimo bars look like they have nuts embedded in them. Here, have one.

I like the song "Express yourself" by NWA. I am too badly informed in the genre to know if this is a good or poor decision.

So you don't consider stubbornness to be a strong enough character flaw in Applejack?

Classical music has yet to fail me.

I'm starting to suppose there should be a size limit for signatures images because lots of the ones I'm seeing here I consider a bit too big.

I'm collecting graphic novels by some artists I enjoy, and will probably need to get some cash flow going if I want to continue the interest. So far I have Book 6 (Still wanted, books 1-5, 7 and 8) of a hardcover collection of all the Tintin books, The latter two thirds of Jeff Smith's Bone, Flight comics anthology by Kazu Kibuishi No. 1-6 and 8. I have both of the missle mouse books by Jake Parker and Smile by Raina Telgemeier, so I'm quite pleased with that.

I thought you represented Bronies as being friendly and tolerant people, Alphabetagamma. Micspamming does not really support this mental image.

I have counter-evidence presented by the heavy.

Easily repaired by updating your graphics card driver.

Games with well-designed set pieces. Portal 2, Half-Life 2, Splinter Cell, Ace Combat, Ratchet & Clank, Jak II, all fantastic games for singularly awesome moments that can only be described with the context of the entire game.

Well, okay. But only because your avatar made me laugh.

How I react to stuff relevant to this thread: a discourse in one part. Part 1: Things I react to Negatively How I react to really annoying "patriotic" Bronies: How I react to overly fervorous anti-bronies: How I react to people who say the show is amazing for animation or other technical reasons: How I react to people thinking the solution to strong Brony actions can only be hate: How I react to being called a Brony: How I react to people who think that since I am not a Brony I should be against Bronies:

I can't wait to somehow mastermind you into the mire and confusion between Pro and Anti Bronies.

Mine is from a picture by Petur Antonsson. It used to be Arvo Part, an Estonian composer whos works I greatly enjoy. But I decided it was time for a change and wanted something a bit cartoony and/or colorful, but still retained the idea of an old man avatar because most people don't have an old man avatar. I consider having such makes me sort of unique since everyone and their dog wants their avatar to be some badass character of some sort these days.

I did. Ten thousand forgivenessess, I sometimes overhear things about Tumblr from my sister, and "HNNNGGG" has an entirely different meaning on that website than it does most other places. By the by, that image is not representative of the Tumblr interpretation of HNNG.

Everyone has a reason why they chose their avatar. And the majority of people on this forum have a custom avatar, so I was curious about the story behind them. Do tell!

I am considering and reconsidering the other challenges. My current stance on the issue is "Hmmmm." until I can see a few more opinions on the matter.

Now that it's settled which Presidential Candidates have what amount of stylistic and technical knowledge, it's time to figure out who is the best at describing stuff in a way people think is cool, funny, interesting or otherwise engaging. Hence, the Review Challenge. Candidates are to submit a text-based review of anything they wish (as long as it fits within the Forum Rules and Article II.D.1 of the Charter). It can include pictures and whatever kind of clever formatting, but must be longer than 1500 words. The recommended subjects of a review would be a book, movie or video game. The reviews are due in two weeks (August 15th), and the Reveiws will be judged by the following metric: a. Creativity (Literary expressiveness or emotional inflection in the review as to how likable it is) b. Quality (Metric of communicative ability, logic and vocal effectiveness) c. Interestingness (How engaging the review is) d. Readability (Spelling and grammatical correctness)

"This next test applies the principles of momentum to movement through portals. If the laws of physics no longer apply in the future, God help you." This is the quote I would now use to relate myself with this thread, except replacing some of the nouns in that statement.
