Awlright then let's do some kind of vote. I got a few ideas for RPs that could set some wheels in motion, just quote or shout or whatever if you like some of them. (Please differentiate in your minds the fact that 'Quests' necessitate dynamic character(s), whereas 'Adventures' do not.) Space Opera Speculative Fiction (Clockpunk, Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Atompunk, Rocketpunk, Cyberpunk) Superheroes Fantasy Noir

When I was a child I would pretend using my hands and sound effects with my voice to imagine various sorts of fantasy sequences, be they fictional debates or fight sequences with space ships. I still do this.

The answer is 2 It's 288. lolumadz? If one is educated enough they realize that you're being a troll not by posting a question that has two answers; you're being a troll because you're posting a question that is very ambiguously written. Because of this ambiguity it has two answers depending on the order of operations. Simple misunderstanding of logically worded questions can easily hide misinformation, even paradoxes in this way. Just like the classic "Can God heat a burrito in a microwave so hot that he can't eat it?". That example isa paradox of terms, just as much as it would be to ask "How long has the bachelor been married?".

I would be surprised if I would be able to attend any tournament of any sort, due to my job taking up most of the day in combination of the relative unreliability of my internet. -
Goodness gracious that image is both overly loqacious in terms of visual appeal and too darn big.

Played Ace Combat 5 again this morning, on the Mission "8492" on Ace difficulty. Got a new time record, 3:23. Two seconds longer than my previous best.

Have you ever watched so much of Freeman's Mind that you...

I prefer thinking about my life with my mind's voice of James Earl Jones, so I end up sounding a bit like Darth Vader in my imagination. -
That metaphor is delicious.

I wonder how long it usually takes to assemble a computer. -
If that's the kind of thing you like, I have a webcomic you may want to look into, Nagisa.

Look someone has to raise the deeper questions in life. If no one else will, I may as well do it, if you don't mind.

What is the standard of objects? 100% Cool? 0% Cool? If objects are 0% cool, does that mean they are uncool, or neutral? At what point does something exceed being absolutely cool? Can anything actually reach 100% coolness or exceed it? Once again, confound these ponies. They drive me to think!

When I'm angry, the furstration usually subsides quickly and pretty obtusely, like in the middle of a sentence. It's a matter of habit since when I get angry, I ask myself "What am I defending?". Usually the gripe is pretty petty or frivolous, and it defeats the reason of being angry.

Top Gun 1986, directed by Tony Scott Ever since I played Ace Combat 5, I've had a curiosity about jet fighters and pilots of all sorts. The unfortunate consequence of this interest is the fact that there is an enormous lack of movies about them. I watched Stealth (2005) because it's the only recent entry into such a category of intrigues, and the fact that it still today holds the world record for biggest box-office bomb is relatively self-explanatory for its quality. Thus I was forced by my interest to watch Top "TOP "TOM "MAVERICK" CRUISE" GUN" Gun. America. Set in some conflict in which the United States is always under threat via (American F-5s and F-2s painted to look like) Mig-28s flying within a 200 mile radius of the USS Enterprise, Tom Cruise and pals take to the air to defend the nation and their friendly neighborhood aircraft carrier from said aircraft, Tom is established as a rebel without much of a cause, goes to school and becomes the best at flying, and then he shoots down a few planes. There are very few pictures of him actually flying the plane on Google. The movie has pretty good acting, excellent special effects (what few there are) and beautiful principal photography (most shots of the aircraft are real footage of VF-114 and 213 Squadrons with real F-14 Tomcats). There is nothing fundamentally "wrong" or "bad" about how the movie plays out, apart from some technical gripes with how the Pilots operated inside the cockpit (like putting your hands on the canopy. Even when you're not piloting the plane, your hands are at your sides and you minimize movements so that you know where your arms are if you maneuver unexpectedly and suddenly have G-forces all over the place. Especially egregious when Goose and Maverick eject; hands not being where they're supposed to be is how you get flailing injuries.) but those are nitpicks. Nitpicks in F-14s. Conceptually it's a pretty decent film, but nothing spectacular. Although looking at it with this decade's eyes, there's a lot of what could be interpreted as homosexual allusion, or just straight pandering to women. America. Overall I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, but still I do not consider it a phenomenal film by any means. It just makes me wish someone could make a cooler film about pilots, since there's a lot of ground one could cover in a fictional movie about pilots; the only decent ones that seem to be made are historical portrayals, like Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff (1983) or Apollo 13 (1993) or Chinese copyright infringement. I give it a thumbs up, but it comes no where close to being on my top twenty.

Please operate your welder in conditions that are clean and clear of debris. Also, do not put peanut butter in it. Help, my smoothie is disappearing too quickly.

Levels and XP in my opinion are extraneous and unnecessary detail. Even having health indications greater than a number as a percentage I think would be too complicated for the purpose of the narrative, seeing as an RP is basically the dynamic creation of a novel. But I am more than willing to partake in the nonsense of this thread until it gets organized into someone coming up with a story and coherency for a decent RP thread. Recall the text-based adventure, except it's not me parsing what happens, everyone has their own character, and it's all held together by a Game Master.

7/10 It's very good, but I do not recognize where it's from or what it's supposed to suggest. But it is succinct, non-intrusive and appealing to look at.

Today I learned the correct course of action if a shipping container dock door gets jammed: Kill the door with the emergency stop, and inform the deck supervisor. Source: I could have been seriously injured when I pulled something out from under the dock door that was propping it up. While the Freezer Dock part of the warehouse I could have inductively reasoned would be insulated and thus very thick, it did not occur to me at that moment the possible risk of that door, specifically the fact that it weighs four tons.
