Adobe Illustrator is like Photoshop, but it is dedicated Vector editing. People usually use it for posters, signs, CNC machines and other things that need absurdly high detail or fidelity. Mike Morasky wrote all the Team Fortress 2 themes and most of the music in Portal 2. Kelly Bailey wrote all the music for Half Life 2, Episodes and Portal, and also made lots of concept art that lead the development for the imagery of the Combine Depot, and the Citadel lower levels.
