  1. When you have a moment? Now's a good time, Stern. I don't keep any secrets from my wife. Oskar, please, attend to business, it's much more attractive. ... What is it? We've received angry complaints from the Armaments Board. The artillery shells, tank shells, rocket casings, all have failed quality control tests. That's to be expected! Start up problems; I'll write them a letter. They're withholding payment. Sure, so would I, so would you, I wouldn't worry about it. There's a rumor going around that you've been mis-calibrating the machines. They could shut us down and send us back to Auschwitz. I'll call around, ask where we can buy shells. I don't see a difference. Whether they're made here or somewhere else- You don't see a difference? I see a difference. You're going to lose a lot of money- Fewer shells will be made. Stern, if this entire factory ever produces a single shell that can actually be fired, I'll be very unhappy.
  2. Exactly too much information. Also, by Tesla Orb I think you mean either a Tesla Coil, or a Van de Graaff Generator, Koach.
  3. Being a good Heavy or a good Medic is not you playing one way and expecting others to live to a standard. It's compromise on both sides to work with both your habits and their methods. if done perfectly, it's like marriage in that the compromise has you working entirely in tandem, not 50/50 but 100/100. (That's 200% effectiveness mother trucker) It's happened to me before, I playing Medic and healing a Heavy and both of us moving and thinking to the same tune, we took down like two other players, blew an Uber early in the face of another Heavy/Medic (who ubered), and still ended up taking down four other players AND the other Heavy/Medic. 'Twas a good day on Upward, and it was just a random pub server I joined, with some guy I'd never played with before.
  4. Oddly enough the spellcheck on my browser can't correct tomorrow (I usually spell it tommorow). I always need a spellcheck when doing silhouette because I forget the h.
  5. Are you ok Professor? Argyle looked up with a tiny lapse of surprise at how little he had been reacting to the world around him, as the question finally registered. "I'm fine, don't... well... No! I am not "Okay"! A man is dead because of his poor decisions but that does not alleviate that I witnessed his death; I have moral objection with killing, that I will not tolerate to change and would very strongly have it put forth as a command while I am the Financier of this expedition." Determination began to flow from his voice as it neared the latter part of his sentence, complimented by a steely appearance on his face. It quickly melted to a slightly different morose face than it was before, as he thought about what he had said. "Then again... I hired you all seeing as Roam told me casualties may become an inevitability because of the risky course we take..." again, it his determination resolved stoic again "But it will not be in vain." The contextless resolve of the Professor seemed to be lost in the air around him, as he realized the matters which he was vocalizing were rather private in nature, as he glanced towards the youngish pilot who stood in the doorway. His pristine memory recalled "...Mr. Burton. Greetings.. er, don't mind my loss of composure... I am not used to the goings-on of adventurey. Please-" he was interrupted by a sudden recollection in his mind. "-Please excuse me, I have things to attend to." he said, remaining sitting and gently resting his hand on the side of his face, relaxing the weight of his head into his arm.
  6. Seeing as we know it to be impossible to make rainbows follow the contrail formation in real life like it does for Rainbow Dash (the closest thing the real world has to a sonic rainboom is breaking the sound barrier through a low density high humidity air pocket, which looks something like this Taste the rainbow) I'm actually quite curious if the effect that follows the Wonderbolts (thick disporatic lightning clouds) is possible. Thick smoke, easy. High static charge index, maybe. Something to generate immense amounts of voltage through the clouds that doesn't hit the ground or the aircraft, complicated. But possible, I imagine.
  7. One thing we can hold to be true: the Universe is made of Matter, Energy and Information. This idea very well supplants the older thinking that the Universe is made of only matter and energy.

    Q & A Thread

Pretend that I am a capable orator and talk to myself about the profoundness of God's creation. That or look at pony pictures like this one. What is one song that you would definitely have played at your funeral, either in response to your life, or request in your Will?
  9. Ten thousand years of evolution and we've barely begun to tap the vastness of human potential.
  10. This song is just six words long.
  11. Is that because you submerged it in water, hit it with something or were listening to loud music?
  12. If a girl asks you if the dress makes her look fat, the correct answer is to look for the nearest window and dive headfirst through it.
  13. I was pinner too when I was 13.
  14. My retort is the fact that my previous post is also applicable to you Vapymid.
  15. Axeldeath aced it. I also would have accepted that joke that The Nostalgia Critic made in his Top 11 Creepiest villains or something like that, where he had that picture as the profile pic for something made up on Myspace, where it said "I HAVE CANDY!" 25 year old from Naperville, IL.
  16. SHE IS NOW A WOMAN whut
  17. Alyxx why is everyone so attentive to your avatar beside the obvious. Stop that brain, the eyes are up there.
  18. Ha ha, you don't get snowball fights!
  19. Yeah seriously, what is it with you people and gross things? At least make them subject to ridicule or at least laugh-at-able.
  20. Good news is, the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show a median latency of forty-four point six years, so if you're thirty or older, you're laughing. Worst case scenario, you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator and it makes a happy face.
  21. Even if I answered all of your objections to my beliefs to a degree of satisfaction, would there be any likelihood of you wanting to know more about Christianity for the purpose of believing it?
  22. A guinea worm.
  23. I know that I would have no qualms with going off the internet for extended periods. It would just come as an inconvenience to everyone who decided to take part in the game I made.
  24. The maker of the error in name is Douglas Adams. Or in regards to the error,
