Beat me to it (I was even thinking of the same tvtropes page). While I generally support gun rights (but also background checks) I can't respect any argument that uses Hitler as an example. Hitler ordered the holocaust, the execution of captured commandos and Jewish soldiers, intended to starve the native Slavic population in Russia to death after conquering the USSR, and was an immoral fascist dictator who is basically the modern definition of evil. He was also a war hero, patriot, loved animals, opposed communism (YMMV on whether that's good or not) rebuilt the German economy in only a few years, was well-respected by Mahatma Gandhi, opposed tobacco-use (although it remained legal), and was an enemy of Stalin (a cruel totalitarian dictator). Just because Hitler may have once said that something was a good idea doesn't automatically make it a bad one.

Oh for the love of...not this shit again. Foal, why'd you have to bring this back up? It's been almost two weeks, and BTG hasn't even said anything about it since Alyxx asked him to ease up (and for one person to stop flaming him for it). Seriously, if he's doing anything, then I'm all for saying something, but there's no need to take a shovel and dig it up if he isn't. We don't (or shouldn't, at least) care what he thinks about the show, we just want him to leave us alone, so why would you say something that'll just start another argument? BTG, regardless of your opinion on the show, I think we'd all appreciate it if you didn't generalize us based on what one or two of the people here have said. I think it's safe to say that we all get annoyed when you complain about us, but that doesn't mean that we hate you for not liking the show (which is what you keep saying). If personal attacks are counterproductive, then so are generalizations. In fact, out of everyone who's said anything about this at all, I'm 100% sure that they only care about you bashing us (which is to be expected). Either way, I'd just like to point out that you have, at times, posted solely to complain about us even when we haven't said anything about ponies (such as in the vent thread a while back). You haven't done it lately, but that's what annoys us, not your opinion on the show. Moreover, I'm sure you're completely aware of that and are doing it on purpose, since otherwise why would you even bother? All I'm saying is, if you're going to complain about ponies, at least only do it when someone actually posts about them, not just whenever anyone who watches the show makes a post at all. 9/10 for your sig.

About to play HL2: Episode One. It's been so long that I haven't even unlocked any of the achievements, since I last played it before they were added.

Honestly, I don't get why people are making a big deal about how the fandom is 'dying'. Obviously things are going to slow down, we're between seasons after all, what did everyone expect? The only reason I see that people 'should' be leaving the fandom would be because of Alicorn Twilight, and even that is an overreaction, since it isn't like the only reason anyone ever watched the show is because Twilight didn't have wings. Seriously everyone, just wait for season 4, watch everything pick right back up, and stop making so much drama out of it all. Come on guys, the show doesn't have to stop being good just because it's on season 4, 'kay?

You seem to be under some false impression that we have pony avatars and discuss the show specifically because we think it annoys you. And what bans are you talking about? The only pony-related bans I can recall were Username (who was a brony but got banned for racism, not anything to do with ponies) and Jack Noir (who got banned for repeatedly insulting people in the MLP thread). I could ask you the same question. As far as I can tell, you're the only one here who still complains about us, and nothing happens. Anywho, Humin's signature gets a 5/10 This is an example of a vocal minority. Despite most people not sharing their opinion, they complain about whatever their issue is until they get what they want. They often ruin things for everyone else because people give them what they want just to stop the complaining. 8/10 for your sig.
