  1. Concerning the whole HGttG reference, I wouldn't mind if he would mention in one of his rants that someone he knew had to gnaw off an arm just to survive listening to something or that all these aliens and how small he is in the universe - only to say that the universe can't afford a sense of proportion.
  2. Don't fool yourself bub, everyone knows Ross' habits and patterns - including yourself if you've followed him since at least episode 30 of FM. I'm sure Ross is just having another mid-life crisis that wasn't in his plans and has to move or his computer fried or had to find another job to keep from getting evicted, etc... Although it would be awesome if Ross could pump out videos like he wants to, it's just plain and simple not possible for anyone in his position. Anyway, I'm patiently awaiting news from Ross like everyone else but am not really expecting anything anytime soon as is the golden rule in development: it's ready when it's ready and there is no definitive amount of time that 'soon' can convey. @Ross I'm rootin' for you every step of the way no matter if you're trying to make ends meet or make a video; you're a good guy and I'm hoping the best for you.
  3. Although I haven't played any of the HL games, my first instinct was 'Don't pick that up.' when he passed the Tau Cannon - It just killed two people so how the hell would I know that it wouldn't kill me too? It's really the same scenario as the soldier AI of so many games that even Freeman pointed out in an earlier episode. Soldier 1 goes around the corner and immediately dies. Soldier 2 goes around the corner and immediately dies. Soldier 3, then 4... 5, 6, 7... DO THEY EVER LEARN!?
  4. Oh please, if yall can't realize how many spies Black Mesa has at Aperture Science then yall deserve a wrist slap. Black Mesa's HEV suit has stolen technology that Cave Johnson - the man that almost made the explosive lemon - worked and died to have. So to hide the portal from obvious spectators, they put it in the suit's ass. So when he grabs a weapon, he literally pulls it from his ass.
  5. Always liked this piece of art for aliens.
  6. @Dumbrarere Episode 35 would probably be put on youtube by the time Ross gets around to your email - don't forget how he keeps telling us about his piling inbox. On the topic of youtube and how it uploads really slowly, I was thinking that perhaps Machinima should stop relying so heavily on youtube and make its own video hosting website so its uploads can be instant. With a similar setup to what youtube has, Machinima can probably rack in enough income to support such a website.
  7. Yea, although Machinima's uploading speed is pretty damn slow, at least FM is being produced at a much faster pace, so when Machinima decides to finally put up 33, 34 will be out shortly after and possibly 35 after that.
  8. Hehe... Just had to add the wordings.
  9. Cool story bro. **Russian** Interesting anecdote comrade **Irish** Sounds like ye got a wee li'il too much grass in yer cranium lad. Have a beer instead!
  10. Wonderful episode, I had to watch it twice when I did. I have some pros and cons about it though. Cons was that it felt like the end credits came too early, but then I remember the other CP episodes and how they also end at the climax i.e. Morning Patrol and Halloween Safety, unlike On A Rail where the episode ends with both of them getting knocked off the train which would be safe to say is the last bit of action for that episode. Another con is too many unanswered questions, whereas the other episodes were short and had everything explained sooner or later, this episode leaves out what happened to the guy who lives there, who was banging on the door, who made the howl, what kind of evil lair lurks in the darkness to create so many numbers of those crawly things? The pros however heavily outweigh the cons - wonderful story, animations (except for the feet, but that's in all the episodes so it's acceptable) story depth - it leaves the watcher wanting more. Again, the credits felt like it was too early however that's a good sign since any short film worth its salt always feels like it's too short. Well placed comedy along with thrills and spooks, nicely hidden information that affects the outcome of imagined ending - Dave's suit protected him from getting his bones smashed when he rolled over the car - This could be effectively taken into account that the crawly beasts don't hurt them. Not to mention the music - wow, the perfectly timed peaks and valleys with the music along with the adrenaline techno theme when they first went through the back tunnel - it added to the scene in that it would make the viewer feel like searching the screen and find anything that may impose a threat, keeping them on the edge of their seat even though they were simply empty tunnels until the spark of light and the burned body - you gave the viewer what they wanted to see. This episode is begging for a sequel but due to the limitations on CP production, it's the perfect story to leave open for interpretation. Ross, as you said this isn't nearly one of your better ideas, I'm just dying to know what is. You may make a terrible manager, but your ideas are worth their weight in gold. If you were to drop CP and FM (I'm not suggesting you do though.) and talk to any large network about a computer animated series and being the writer/director for them, they might just take you up on the offer.
  11. @ OdinsFury So where did that extra $40 go? 2,728 x 10 = 27,280 I say every penny counts. @ Lavaheart Count me in.
  12. @Luke McKee Nice sig. Do you update that every hour or what?
  13. Indeed, it is quite possible that this past month has been an uploading hell for Machinima and either The Tunnel has to wait a while or it could have easily gotten lost within the confusion at HQ, but let's hope they are more organized than I dread.
  14. Heh... At this rate, Ross would've moved and made the next FM episode by the time CP:TT is out.
  15. As Dave would have it, maybe we should all go on a whooping craze. Just go to Machinima and whoop they're arses. Whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop...
