The possibility that I could do it is the opposite of an argument that it is music.

And how exactly is that a bad thing? Thats a bad thing because some people LIKE communism. So just because the US are afraid of it, they're gonna invade the country ? From what has happened the last 60 years thats a clear yes. Some people like ingesting large amounts of brain-destroying substances. Just because some people like a stupid thing, it will not stop being a stupid thing, nor does it mean that they should be allowed to engage in it or to attempt to force others to go along. Great gods, deliver me from people who are so historically ignorant that they don't even know that the Communists did a hell of a lot more nation-invading than the US ever managed. Hell, Cuba ALONE sent troops to a dozen countries during the Cold War. $&@#ing genocidal sociopolitical philosophy... (See? I can rant too.).

First, it's a matter of record that the Russian revolution was hijacked. Without thei corruptive influence, some other, better system would have replaced it. Secondly, even if a variant of the ideology arose, it would likely have been better than what did arise. Thirdly, I have to have doubts about the knowledge bank of anyone who doesn't grasp to what extent Fascism was a reactionary response to the rise of Socialism. Heck, it's half the reason ol' Adolf put it in the name of his Party. -

I like songs with lyrics I can make out. If I wanted to hear a toneless screech-howl, I'd phone up my ex.

I've seen all the Miyazaki films. "My Neighbor Totoro" being my favorite. I watched "Battleship Yamato" when it was "Star Blazers" in the US. That's as far as I've gone, unless you count a single "LA Blue Girl" just after I turned 18.

A group of researchers at the University of Pennsylvania, without ANY government or corporate funding, have developed what may be a cure for leukemia. With a SINGLE SHOT. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44090512/ns/health-cancer/?GT1=43001 Does that not blow your mind?

If I could turn back time, I would toss a large bomb into Marx and Engels's first meeting. Thereby aborting both the most lethal socioeconomic ideology of the 20th Century AND it's genocidal counterpart - which rose as a reaction to it. No Hitler, no Stalin, no Pol Pot or Great Leap Forward... Some 80 million lives spared. I'd be the greatest lifesaver since penicillin. -
I believe that the ability to avoid mob violence is directly proportional to the ability to put a few rounds through the body of a rioter. But in the UK, they have an effectively neutralized populace, where the monopoly on violence now seems to be in the hands of the street toughs rather than the honest citizenry.

Granted, but he is now growing muttonchops. I wish I could Falcon Punch people over the internet, as well as real life, without incurring any negative consequences.

I can bend my left middle finger in such a way that it looks like it has been broken. (This is because I nearly severed it when I was 4) I play music by ear (I can't read it.) I have a nearly flawless memory (of anything I actually care about) I can create complicated but internally logical RPG "fluff" information. (Like, everything you ever might need to know about the planet you just landed on.) If uninterrupted, I can finish up to three novels in a day. I can read upside-down faster than most people can read normally. And during sexytimes, my partners register an average of six ohmigods.

Does SCP-173 count as a "creature?" -
Almost regretting finally joining Facebook last night. Okay, people, so you and I know someone in common, That does NOT mean you should be friend-requesting me. I don't know YOU!

Granted, however on your fifteenth consecutive sex act your pelvis fractures and you are rendered paralyzed and impotent forever. I wish I was immortal, invincible, omnipotent, and omniscient.

The funny thing is, from all the talk about "drastic cuts" that we keep hearing about, there will be no actual drop in spending. In Washinton, "cuts" really means "reduction in future spending increases." "2 trillion in cuts over 10 year" doesn't mean "the debt now is 14 trillion, and it will shrink to 12 trillion by the end of the decade" It means "instead of spending 3.8 trillion every year for the next ten years like we planned, we're only gonna spend 3.6 trillion every year. The fact that we'll only be TAKING IN 2.5 trillion is irrelevant. SUCKERS!!!"

90% of machinima produced today is crap. That said, 90% of everything is crap. (Sturgeon's Law) We need moar good machinima, less 12-yr-olds pretending. Also, collections on DVD. Right now we have a few greats working on projects, usually with ridiculous barriers in their way, like life. And they do it all for free, which constantly amazes me. I'd need a more specific question to give a more specific answer.

Mhmm. I know that "Machete don't text", never heard that "Charlie don't code". Who is this Charlie? Does he perchance own a Chocolate Factory, which he inherited from a certain Willy? I think he's the same Charlie who don't surf. Or a relation.
-
Um.. I use "Cry Some More" (always accompanied by a link to YouTube video of The Heavy shouting just that), but I never spell it MOAR and I only use it when the person in question is being an EXCEEDINGLY whiny bitch about something stupid. And by 'stupid' I mean engaging in a 4-page multi-quoted argument about some obscure point of Star Trek continuity, or going on a tear because nobody wants to hear their favorite Paranoid Conspiracy theory, or being mad because I posted a pic of Zombie Pony in their MLP fap thread. So I hope I don't qualify as a "constant" user.

I have an emotional disconnect when it comes to relating to other people. I do not rage, or cry, or panic, or do anything much when anybody gives me news that they feel should upset or disturb me. This has its upside, because it means that I am often seen as someone else's "island of stability" when everything else is going to crap. My gf has said this to me numerous times. My mom said it after my dad's heart attack. However, there is also a serious downside. I alienate other people. In fact, the other night, this same gf says that she can no longer "feel any passion" towards me, because it seems that my emotional reactions are all... mechanical. And they kind of are. But the worst part is... I did this to myself. Long ago, I realized that I had a extremely nasty temper. So bad, in fact, that it might keep me from being able to interact with "civilized" people. My emotional swings were sudden, intense, and violent. So I chose the only avenue I thought was open to me... the Vulcan Way. All the negative emotions got shunted into a little box where I could deal with them where no one else would see. Side effect: everything else is suppressed, too. And I've done it for so long now that I have no idea if or how I can reverse the process. tl;dr: Crap.

Also, yes, I know that this is here. I took the weekend off to go see me dad and do other stuff I couldn't do while I was at the hospital most of the time. Also, rescheduled vacation for 8/21-8/27. As for tags, Charlie don't code. However, I am in favor of the spoiler tag, as well as more smileys and fun things. Also, I want to have strikethroughs nd the ability to paint everything gold. Also, blood-red dripping font for when I have to execute someone.

Too late. I took everything, and replaced it all with exact replicas.

Yah. Of course, I've been known to debate on the side of positions contrary to my own, JUST to prove a point. Not that I plan on doing so... no... I simply pl;an on making Goebbels look like an amateur. Bwa-ha-ha. So, who goes first, that I may sink my fangs deeply into their poor unsuspecting throat?

NO... WAY... THAT'S JUST TOO COOL I once played with a first generation Metroplex. It was huge. I have a Metroplex (well, an Encore Metroplex, from when they started re-making the old toys for collectors a few years back). He IS big, but Fort.Max. is around twice Metroplex's size. You can't find a Fort.Max. in decent condition for less than $1500. I've tried.
