Dead island is fun when playing with friends but it can get a little repetitive and the story was kind of...Smeh. The gore and weapons are perfect, but I expected a bigger open world and more to do and more clever quests. After a while of playing, doing quests begins to feel more like a chore than fun, they begin to repeat (save my brother/sister, find me food/water/stuff, kill this zombie, etc) and as you get familiar with the game they become less of a challenge. Dead island is fun but I wouldn't think of replaying it alot, could have been better.

I couldn't agree more people are entitled to their opinion and there is nothing wrong with liking CoD, but we should stop arguing over it, Call of duty is one of those dangerous topics to talk about like Politics or Religion. I'm pretty sure Dr. Breen was referencing Xen at the end of Half-Life 2 with "Worlds, stretched thin across the membrane where the dimensions...intersect..." So yeah, it's something weird. Well, that's what mods are for. Yes the proper term is Border World, Xen acts as a sort of bus stop between worlds, to teleport to other universes you must pass through Xen which is why there are no natives to Xen, they are all from other worlds who either willingly or unwillingly teleported to Xen. The Book Raising the Bar explains all this....I know too much about half life.

As I said, Valve had nothing to do with the expansions, Gearbox was tasked with making them, hence why you don't see any of the Gearbox stuff in HL2. This is correct, which is why I'm afraid for all of those who hope to see Adrian Shephard in future Half Lifes will be sadly disappointed.
