  1. But he's a Freeman already Mike is just the second one Technically, Freeman is the second one since CP came first. lol But I know what you mean.
  2. You know, I wouldn't doubt it. He's said he's never gotten a shortage ideas. Actually from the way he said it, I'd almost say he has TOO many ideas. lol Like if he were to create all these ideas into new videos, everyone watching would die of old age before seeing them all finished. Of course Ross wouldn't die because he's a god. Gods can live forever and stuff man.
  3. I'm talking about if he rejects anyway, GMan would leave Gordon there but then something would happen otherwise to where he wouldn't die, like GMan teleports him out before he dies, or Gordon rejects but accidentally leaves through the portal exit or something crazy like that. We all know canonically Gordon accepts and noncanonically he refuses and gets killed, but I'm talking about a third option that still lets him live but he doesn't necessarily has to accept as I still believe by the end of Half Life fans are still going to want more Freeman's Mind, and Ross is happy to oblige them.
  4. I don't even known about such mod :/ Well, I would like to see Dave's Mind anyway Here's one for example. http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife_2_Combine_Destiny_Mod;51699 Also, a Dave's Mind would be cool too but the reason why I focused on Mike instead was because, well, Ross Scott plays Mike and he runs Accursedfarms.
  5. You're probably right about that even though Mike's voice would be muffled from the mask, slightly deeper, he has would have a completely different personality, AND the series would be called Mike's Mind (or whatever Ross would call it) People should get that it's not the same guy, but I don't doubt some won't. But besides from that, basically yeah. It'd just be Mike by himself in first person facing whatever odds find him.
  6. Hypothetically, what if Ross decided to make a Mind series starring Mike from Civil Protection in one of the Half Life 2 mods that make you play as a Combine? I doubt it'll ever happen, but I was wondering what the reception would be to an idea like that.
  7. And that's just in the first couple episodes. XD Later on he misinterprets them, or just flat out is wrong about stuff. Like he thought that one scientist was a genie right before he got the shotgun.
  8. That'd be pretty sweet. I thought 10.5 was pretty funny, if not because for once in the entire series Freeman actually fails. XD
  9. I'm not sure that'd be such a good idea. One being that they probably wouldn't sound much like the characters, two being that those characters are speaking anyway and, in line with the rest of the series, Gordon will probably just ignore them, and three being I like the sense that Freeman is just kinda tuning people out and is in his own world. XD
  10. I was talking about the Facebook one. :/
  11. I've always wondered why Gordon needs hair, what does it do? It's just...there.
  12. You mean like this one? http://twitter.com/#!/crowbargordon Yes like that, but then in ross's Freeman character. ...Dude that was in Freeman's Mind's character.
  13. Did you even watch the series!? HIS EAR GOT SHOT OFF IN ONE OF THE EPISODES!!! His ear didn't get shot OFF, his ear got shot through the flabby part on the bottom so it looks like he got his ears pierced.
  14. Whoops, wrong page. XD http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100002095405027
  15. Like this. http://www.facebook.com/update_security_info.php?wizard=1#!/
  16. It's really not. There's already a thread like that. I have no doubt that Freeman's Mind will still be popular enough to merit it going into Half Life 2. This thread is asking if it's a good idea for Freeman to reject his offer.
  17. Yeah, but that adds in something I don't really want to see. I don't really want to hear Gordon say anything when G-Man talks to him in Half Life 2, at least not in the beginning parts. it's just not the same as ignoring random NPCs saying stuff like, "Head for the surface!" I dunno, it just reminds me too much of people who make crappy Freeman's Mind ripoffs starting in Half Life 2 and talking over G-Man. But I have complete confidence in Ross. (and have ensured the administrator that nothing will go wrooong.)
  18. Think about it, does Gordon really seem like the type of guy to trust a shady guy in a suit? Now, before you say, "But if he rejects it, Freeman's Mind won't be able to go into Half Life 2!" Untrue. At the end of Half Life 2, doesn't G-Man specifically say, "Rather than offer you the illusion of free choice, I will take the liberty of choosing for you..." Now correct me if I'm wrong or if there's some other meaning to this but, doesn't that mean that either way G-Man would still keep Freeman alive? It doesn't realy make sense for G-Man to actually give Freeman choice anyway, he needs him...then again...he still has Shephard... But I digress. And really, it fits Freeman's personality more. Unless Ross works it out otherwise, it kinda've makes more sense this way. Now, I'm not saying that it should happen, because it's not my right to say, I'm just wondering what anyone else thinks about this.
  19. they would be just friends not in love. That's an...interesting look on that. XD
  20. I think he's speaking gibberish.
  21. Wait, there's and HD pack for HL1?!? Where? I want! There is but I don't think he is for Source. There's one for the original if you have Blue Shift.
  22. Considering this is coming from a guy named TurdFetus, I think I'll take my chances. -__-
  23. I agree. FM is mostly what he does when he gets stuck on what he's usually working on. It's actually more of a sideproject. Actually, it WAS a side thing until Episode 4 when, due to popular demand, it became a full fledged series. It's as important as Civil Protection, it's just CP takes longer.
  24. He said he'd continue the series if people want it, and...clearly people want it.
