Very astute. And, actually, I think you're right. I think Rarity just puts on a more 'formal' accent to appear more professional. When she loses her temper or goes into extreme levels of emotion she slips into an accent most of the other ponies have. To add to that, her sister has the same accent as the other ponies as well. edit: I guess 'sophisticated' IS a better word' to describe.

On A Rail took from about Episode 24 to 32 assuming Apprehension starts when you meet the Ichthyosaur. If not, about 24 to the around the halfway point f 30 I guess. And besides, the whole 'baghdad lookin' part' spreads across two chapters -- Surface Tension and "Forget About Freeman!"
