Half-Life series Halo series (guilty pleasure) Left 4 Dead series Killing Floor Counter Strike Day of Defeat Star Wars Dark Forces and Jedi Knight series (the FPS segments anyway) Team Fortress 2 that's about all I can think of. Going off of Eedo Baba's comment though, speaking of third person shooters though, I had an interesting conversation with my friend about how he thinks that TPS sucks and it's all just bland generic shooter games with nothing to offer, but his opinion is usually entirely subjective and heavily biased anyway.

Apparently pretty shitty. It's 1 AM and ever since 12 I've been jinxing the shit out of everything.

Basically Mass Effect but with graphics that look like real life, AI so advanced they can respond with an unlimited amount of responses realistically to whatever you say. (with Kinect or whatever) Being able to import your own face, put in your real name and characters will actually call you by that, and amazing gameplay where, again, do whatever you want, single player or multiplayer. And there's SO MUCH shit to do you never get bored of it. But, let it also have a great overarching story that determines the fate of the galaxy or somethin'.

I will play the SHIT out of single player. This is what I wanted with ME2. I wanted a demo BEFORE the game releases, not after. God this is so fucking awesome.
