I am 99% sure Gabe personally coded in a Bullshit-script that activates randomly and gives you items right after spending loads of time and/or items crafting/trading it. Happened to me many times before.

When I saw the amazing teaser(doesn't matter whether the game is bad or not, the trailer is still great) for this I thought this would be a pretty cool game. But I heard the story isn't as important as I thought it was and I didn't care to much for the gameplay to begin with.
